as I see Ruka gets angry with Kaname at the flashback, there is also a Zero flashback with Yuuki (if I am not mistaken because at that moment he had stepped where Sara was). The rest of the chapter seems to go back also showing perhaps(?) Takuma's acquaintances and feelings about Sara...

Kaname seems to abort his plan to kill Sara, Yuuki is behind him with Artemis and Ruka is interacting with humans and her old admire the DC president(!), lol..

I wonder if we get any revelation in this chapter though, it seems to be connecting some dots with the past...

kaname tells ruka about his plan to kill the purebloods and ruka asks about yuuki. he calls yuuki a hindrance and ruka says she feels sorry for yuuki and also for kaname, but she doesn't say the last bit out loud. she decides she's going to go along with his plan for her own purposes.

takuma says that kaname has even noticed that he has gotten caught up with sara. sara says that takuma is a moth and she is the flame and that its not her fault. she doesn't of course, care about takuma.

i wanna know what the zeki scene is. it doesn't look too emo at least. sara tells zero he's disappointing.

Even if I hate sara being around Takuma, however it seemed hot to me how she pushed him into the wall. I would have preffer for the girl to be someone else though - but I had enjoyed the sexy Takuma.

thanks for the bit of info...even though i did not expect Kaname to talk about his plan...if this is the case however, what kind of purposes could Ruka have to follow such a plan? the "hindrance" part i do understand it as he feels that yuuki is the only one that can stand on his way. Still many things unjustified.

There still wasn't with the chapter much answers really, from what the online translations are saying. The biggest revealtion really was Sara's words about Takuma. I suspected he may have fallen for her, but for her to fall for him too i didnt see coming. I can only see it being a tragic ending for them though.

I thought the same thing. I think he detected kaname's presence in there and went to see. Would explain why he appeared and looked around then turned to leave fast. Well untill sara stopped him, asking for protection and a safe place to hide.

so Kaname came to say hello but was interrupted before get the chance to say it. just wondering if Shiki didn't go there would Kaname have killed Takuma ? or pointing the sword was just an act like that of Zero's gun ;<<

hehe, lucky for Kageyama guy.. Ruka simply acknowledged his feelings. poor poor Akatsuki, just when she'll acknowledge yours ??

Yuki made a deal with Zero to protect Sara, Zero turned his head to look somewhere (maybe where Sara supposed to be or just thinking over), then stretched his hand to Yuki sealing the deal. and Hino made that a flashback which Zero remembered while he's checking on Sara's safety. And Sara requested of him to hide her in the association.

Somehow I think this chapter is good for Zeki-fans because of the discussion between Zero and Yuuki...Hino really surprises us...

I hate it that Zero is helping sara and the girls (she didn´t said Takuma, son´t say that she leaves him there to fight...if he loves her he should stay on her side)

What´s happening with you...he is really in love with her and sees in everything she does and says a love confession, even if she hurts him...but somehow he knows that he becomes imprisoned by her...doesn´t seem like he´s building up a distance but maybe he will understand sooner or later and leaves her...but somehow I believe that he is going down with Sara and that makes me cry

I hated the way Kaname treated Yuuki,so cold and firm...like he doesn't even care anymore about her!

But i think he's planning to take his distance from her because he doesn't want to yuuki getting envolved with this fight,he said before-"I don't want someone precious to me to die again!"
I think he's refering to Yuuki that he doesn't want to loose her again...

Well this is a disappointingly boring chapter.

i really don't care about ruka and her obsession with kaname and whether or not she can finally let go. i dunno whether it means she did or not now. i did not care at all about kageyama and ruka's appreciation of his crush on her even though they had no clue who he was. just makes her seem really shallow. i don't get the point of that at all. this all seems like time wasted.

takuma is creepy with his obsession over sara. its like a reverse shizuka/ichiru. sara is fugly with her lack of caring what happens to takuma, guess he's just one of many admirers. but takuma is grateful that he's unique in his value to her. it all kinda explains his behaviour and responses since ch49.

kaname runs away from Takuma/sara when shiki bursts in. i would sense a lack of conviction, but kaname's skeleton hand was highlight and looks like the sword is still rejecting him and he's continuing to use it, so thats some determination.

my friend guessed exactly what yuuki would say to zero based on the expressions, its kinda funny she was so right.

So sara's off to the hunters place, all they need now is isaya. its funny how its turning into a refuge for purebloods by those who hate vampires. i think anyone including sara who thinks zero is actually after revenge is going to be duped. even zero might consider it, but i think more and more zero will back having yuuki's back before anything else.

This chapter was so/so...because it really did not offer much...

Kaname saying that Yuuki would be a hydrance; it's known that she can block his way due to being his weakness, honestly one phrase he says in this chapter and this is nothing new...

About his plan to kill all purebloods; I do not understand it, yes the purebloods are mean and out of boredom they manipulate the others.

Takuma speaks of how all vampires are naturally attracted to purebloods and that as we have seen has open the door for many catastrophes< Queen Bee, unpunished crimes, manipulation in the fullest degree ect.

Plus they can not die and they end up suffering and making others suffer too...

All these are problems of their nature but the solution is death? It starts getting to my nerves that everybody in this manga could NOT care less about purebloods. I do not understand if we are supposed to go with the flow or what?

-Ruka does not care, Kain does not care, Ichijou does not care, the hunters do not care, Zero does not care...

Everyone in there has his own personal ambitions/scopes and that's it.

Is this plan the reason why Kaname left Yuuki? Because its stupid, he could have stayed and kill them as they would create conflict on their way to get power...what's the reason for all this rush?

Why didn't he kill Touma by ripping his heart before Kaien's blow?

Did Hino forget how easy it was for kaname to kill Touma? honestly can not believe such a simplistic version and a second arc only based on that simple cause.

Kaname's bony hand not healing probably could be because he had not drank blood nor eaten the flesh from any pureblood vampire nor any other level vampire he could have killed . Since the last time he drank from Yuuki . Or his hand could have regenerate . Not turned worse . His smell of another pureblood blood could be because he is carrying Rido's blood remains .


A thing I wasn't expecting now was to see Hino explaining us about Ruka mean actitude to Yuuki at chapter 66 . And Kaname's reason to not explain Yuuki about what happened between Ruka and him that night. So we got Kaname and Ruka talk as a flashback ( Ruka's one ) . The scene supposed to happen near the end of chapter 64 ( a little before Kaname changed Yuuki and left her with a rose . )

An intereresting point I got from chapter 80 .

Sara real purpose in life is not to be Vampire Queen . She only wants to appear strong because she had saw other purebloods losing their will to life before . Her real purpose is to be loved by Takuma .

This is a question chapter 80 suggested . What happened to Sara's parents ? As they died when she was a younger pureblood ( apparently before she became an adult pureblood ) . Could they really suicide because of boredom . As vampire society though happened to Yuuki's parents before . Sara said before she didn't wanted whatever happened to Haruka and Juuri for her .

I so agree with you … with every single word! This is making me very disappointed regarding the plot’s turn. IMO she is making it very superficial and simplistic.
We all know the evilness of the PBs and their unreformed nature! However her choice to demonstrate this problem as Gordian knot which only can be solved by cutting it stripping her plot from its complexity missing to meet the expectations that her 1st brilliant arc had created.
OR is she blackening all the characters except from Yuuki and Cross who currently are the only ones who disapproving this resolution??? Great way to boost her heroine!!!!

And I don’t even want to start ranting about Takuma’s case with Sara!!!! This is so sick and twisted which reminds me Ichirou/Shizuka and Rido’s obsession with Juuri!
I do not understand it … does she want to toss away the influence of Sara’s blood??? Didn’t we see what her tablets did to the users??? Why Takuma should be the exception since moreover in his case he drank directly from her? Was Takuma the same after she coerced him to drink her blood in chapter 73?

For me there is a huge difference between Takuma up to chapter 73 and afterwards. Or we should again ignore that Takuma in the first place chose to stay by her side to spy on her for Kaname I suppose. Sara herself confirms that >>

And if her “confession” of love was enough for Takuma to fall into her web why the need to drink her blood to make him stop from opposing her; even if his previous opposition was weak … he opposed and interfered!

In short I do not buy anything that Sara says even if Takuma has fallen from her deceptions like a fool!
Or is it just a coincidence that Hino chose to show that Sara started targeting Takuma when she saw him so near to Kaname???

As Hino serves her story in this chapter apparently he couldn’t stay with Yuuki because she wouldn’t let him accomplish it thus the hindrance … he is afraid his own weakness there i.e. Yuuki’s influence over him something that maybe would make him stop << Yuuki making him hesitate something that as he is thinking hasn’t the luxury to do anymore.

Okay … let’s accept that this is a reaction thus the damaged hand … and let’s also accept that his healing powers have lessened due to lack of blood.
