I tried to post this question to the "Vampire Knight Anime" section but was told I need special access to post there.

I have searched all over google to find comparison screenshots comparing the widescreen and fullscreen versions.

Generally with Animes one of the versions is going to be cropping out some of the picture. It just depends on what the anime was originally intended for usually.

Thank you so much in advanced.

i own the complete anime of vampire knight. mine is in widescreen. technically speaking, widescreen is suppose to give you more. full screen has it's sides "trimmed" while widescreen allows you to see more. to truly enjoy the widescreen though, it's best to have a widescreen tv.
personally i think if you have the right tv, go for widescreen.
    hope this helps.

My TV is not a widescreen. I couldn't afford one of those.

Mine is a Panasonic Tau 36hl43g 36" CRT tv with DVI inputs, it diplays at 480p resolution. I have a media PC hooked to it running XBMC. whats awesome about this tv is that it only cost $50 off craigslist, whats not awesome is that it weighs about 220 pounds! I have found that even though its not a widescreen TV, it is large enough the widescreen pictures still look Great on it!

Thanks again for your reply Smile going to find and pickup the widescreen edition.

oh a little tip just in case. be sure that it says that it has english as a language, and not english as in subtitles. they can be tricky. this is the one i have:
