Is Yuuki acting irresponsible?

What do you think about Yuuki's decision to act as a reaper? Do you think that she is ready to stand up to the task or is she acting recklessly?

I do think that she acts tottaly irresponsible not taking into account that she depends on others to save her, finally I've also come to hate her hesitant nature, Zero or Kaname, she can never be happy, isn't she a bit arrogant or what?

I don't think she's arrogant, she's very confused...Actually I have never been in love with 2 at the same time so I can't tell that I understand how she feels...
The one thing I know for sure is that Hino has started to get on my nerves!!!! I mean aaaall these years Yuuki was in love with Kaname and now that they're living together, they don't seem like an engaged couple to me. There's a great distance between them, Kaname express freely his affection, whereas Yuuki is still shy...

Yes she is just a baby...that's the only reason I am still putting up with her..on the other hand she has everything she ever wanted and she is still not satisfied with herself, looks like being a vampire did not change her that much...plus she was always so...careless...in a sense.

I wouldn't say she's acting irresponsible, nieve sure but not irresponsible. She's certainly realised that she might not be doing the best thing in the most recent chapters any other would probably still persist and keep going on.

But she returned home because she was wounded, you make me wonder whether she is going to keep on with her visits after the incident. Oh I would love to see her visiting Sarah. Especially since Takuma is there and all the atmosphere could be strange.

Will she go on? I never though about it. I think she will making Kaname more anxious about it. Someone the stress pills to Onii-sama

Ah good point, but why was she hurt? because she was going along with her idea so she might learn from her mistake that not all vampires are nice, although I doubt this is the last time we'll see that Takuma vamp, if she does go back then she's just being stupid, but yeah like you said it would be cool if she went to visit Sara.

the problem is that Yuuki is acting from her heart and she is never think about the consequences. For examlpe now with her actions believes that what is doing is good cause she protecting innocent humans, but I don't think she is realizing that maybe creates enemies. And she is not realizing that puts Aido in danger with her visits to the purebloods. If anyone of them really attacks her, Aido could not do much, he has not the powers to fight a pureblood.

Well I think that she is only left with Hio/Shirabuski families since she met Touma/Isaya and Hanadagi's are sleeping. Do I forget someone? I can't remember.

I don't really think that Yuuki is iresponsible, just a little bit navie on what's going on in the vampire society and how the society runs. She spent most of the first five years of her life in the family's basement and then losing her memories and spending ten years as a human in a carefree world and then turning back into a vampire and held in the family basement again for another year, so techinally, she just a bit naive to her world.

Touma's attack on her was a 'wake up' call for her which hopefully tells her that no matter what you do, you can't always change the way of people, they have to change on their own.

What Yuuki really need to do is focus on her future role not as a pureblood but as future queen of the vampire race, this way so won't look like a girl who always needs her 'brother's' protection.

Yeah, I agree with both of you. The reason why Yuuki is acting 'careless' is, in my opinion, because she fully hasn't grasped the position she's in. Even though Kaname has basicly told/gave hits to her, she still doesn't quiet understand how delicate and vulnerable she actualy is. I mean, yeah sure she has the awsome pointy weapon and a very pretty bodyguard; but Touma's attack was like a bucket of cold water, that she can't randomly flounder freely about now thats she's a Pureblood . Maybe that was why Kaname let her wander about freely, to show the reality of the predicament she's in. Siiiigh, life was so much simpler when you were a hyper active fifteen year old human, worrying about love and had your own personal badass silver knight to protect you from all the evil vampires.
