Hino likes hopless heroines? LOL.

I have read Hino-Sensei three previous comics and we shouldn´t be so angry at Yuuki because Hino´s other female main character is just so hopless as her just take a look

Amelia from WANTED: I want to find my find my first love he was captured by pirates. I will find him even if it means I´m going to have guy clothes on...

Suzuka from Captive Hearts: I want to remove Megure´s curse it´s my fault since he can´t obey me...

Airi from Merupuri: I want to have the perfect marriage! I don´t want a stupid prince! It´s too weird!...

Yuuki: I want co-existing between vampires and humans! Even if i end up offering my blood...

See what i mean?

LOL, Vampire Cynthia, so Yuuki's weaknesses is actually a pattern of Hino-san. Were the other manga's as good as VK?

Gosh, am I defending Yuuki?

Yuuki definitely has her flaws but her strength of empathy is real:

(1) she knew to the minute when Zero was going to commit suicide (chapter 4).

(2) (this is a theory) She transformed into a butterfly to stop Kaname before he committed to his plans to the point of no return. The death of Aido-dono was possibly salavagable (it looks like Hanabusa forgave him) but any future moves of Kaname means that there might be no other option for Kaname but to continue on whatever dark path he is on. This might explain Yuuki's desparation at that moment. And why she is not chasing after Kaname now (critical point has already passed)

She has no idea what Kaname's plan is, but she is sensing the magnitude of the situation through emotions only.

(3) She knew when Kaname was serious about killing Zero and stopped Kaname, even though she did not have much blood in her system (chapter 3).

(4) She is one of the few characters in VK who understands that co-existance is the only long-term solution for their world and peace. She is not an intellectual giant, so it has to be from her developed emotional understanding of everyone else.

Yeah you right Caela And her other manga´s were good too. But no Tradegy in her other stories they pure comedy I think you will enjoy them as much as I did

Maybe it is true that Yuuki is hopeless and clumsy but from anpther point of view, she have to be regarded as extremely positive character.
Yuuki is so faithful, devoted to her beloved and full of love and mercy that it is unevitable that she could be consider as annoying and weak comparing to such strong individuals as Kaname or Zero.
In chapter 76 Yuuki says another beautiful statement when she is persuading Zero that even if she is a chess piece it is alright and she will make step to the step to fulfill Kaname's plan and then she will see him again. It was so beautiful that I was touched. It also express how extremely good personality she is. It reminds me also when she have said Aidou that it was not important if Kaname cheated on her, she was not going to stop to trust him.

Ahh....unconditional love. How people choose to love is a matter of preference. I prefer conditional love...

Yes, I agree Yuuki is extremely brave and loyal. Her trust in Kaname is absolute, up to and including Yuuki challenging Sara by herself because Yuuki thinks that is Kaname's plan.

I also see these qualities as extreme in Yuuki: she should be able to sort out the bad people, like Sara, and learn to reject them. Yuuki's strengths are also her weaknesses.
