I don't know what he is doing, we were saying about Zero that he needs a slap to come back to reality but Kaname seems to be worst on that field. Okay how much psychological problems from his past does he have? Mercy me!!

It looks like he wants to become a murderer, to kill all purebloods and bring an end to this agony to keep Yuuki safe.

His original plan if I am right was to make the world a safer place for Yuuki.

But okay no matter how much the love and the angst he holds within, his actions (acting like a reaper himself) are only going to turn against him and he knows it (even hunters may have a legimate reason to kill him with all that he does). He does not care to die and to kill as long as Yuuki is well and safe...

That's my overall estimation of what is going on here but Hino in that way totally destroys Kaname because murders are murders, if not justified and just acted for Yuuki's sake, his end will be tragic. I wish I am wrong.

Not to mention that did he ask Yuuki how she is going to live without him and how she is going to bear the weight of his actions on her account? After all this/ if she saves himand get him clean I hope that she totally busts his head for this..!!!! LOL

Poor Aidou must be shuttered after this, , I do not get though what Kaname said to Aidou's father and persuaded him to sacrifice himself for, that makes me think that perhaps Kaname's actions just not include the killings of the purebloods for Yuuki's safety but something more overall that he needs to do.

What can I say about Zero? His vampire side is coming out more obvious (the horses startled) and Yuuki's addiction is strong enough. His body is reacting to her thought, have you noticed? Makes me feel sorry for him, even though now with Kaname's departure Zeki will have finally space to develop and to clear out.

I am also wondering what the hunter's reaction are going to be with Kaname's way of acting? God so sad... I need the next chapter already...

I don't give a damn about all this I choose to trust Kaname until the end and I think now is the time to do the same Yuki too! If not now then when? Now he needs her more than ever to prove her unconditional love for him, to stand by his side without second thoughts!

Whatever Kaname said to Lord Aidou, was strong enough to make him sacrifise himself, so I trust that we'll feel the same when Hino will explain.

I feel that Yuki will be confused but she will have faith in Kaname. Her reaction in the last 2 chapters shows very strong feelings. I think that Hino wouldn't give us such strong feelings if she was thinking about Yuki turning against Kaname.

As expected (and never doubt about it), Zero's feelings for Yuki never changed. I think that he'll be back and Yuki will know it but I want to believe that she will not betray Kaname, unless he's totally out of the picture (and this can only mean one thing).

I loved the way Hino chose to show Zero's feelings for Yuki.

Noooooo! K..Kaname killed the pureblood and Aidou's father in front of Yuuki and Aidou. What is Yuuki's reaction?Will she still believe in Kaname? Please..Hino-san ,don't give Yuuki and Kaname more suffering. I don't want to see both of them apart. And I don't want to see Kaname without Yuuki stay by his side. I start to have a nightmare like you too.
I don't want to see Kaname get kill by Zero's hand.And I don't want to see Yuuki run away from Kaname or worse than that.

I wish Yuuki will bring him back to the right path before it's too late. :claps.:

Why did he kill Hanadagi? In that way it appears like he helped Sara. And Aido's father? what purpose does this murder have? I don't have a clue. Any theories?

I think that he killed Hanadagi just to get rid of him as a pureblood. Not for helping Sarah.
I have no idea or theory about Hanabusa's father. Not at the moment. But whatever it was it convieced Lord Aidou to sacrifise himself, so it must be a really good excuse, right?

I have to admit that Hino is brilliant in her story.

Kaname commited the murder in front of Yuki and Hanabusa. Both of them have admitted in an earlier chapter that they wouldn't mind to be double crossed by Kaname, so in this point Hino will test their loyalty and trust. So in the next chapter(s) their way of thinking in order to make their decision I think it will be fascinating.

I will also hope to see what is Ichijo's interference in this story. We don't know how much of Sarah's plans he knows and we don't know if he is or he is not helping Kaname.
Sarah said in previous chapter, that Takuma made some horrible things by himself (under her commands of course). I wonder what that might be!!!!

When Yuki saw Ruka frustrated she accussed Kaname immediately and he comented about how easy it was for her to accusse him at once. I feel that this comment was not meaningless, but I don't know how is Hino going to use it. Is Yuki going to accusse him that easy once more or does she knows better now?

That's interesting subject; Kaname's plan...( i think that Ruka might know something about it..)

When he murders the council he says that he had been hesitant in the past (during his ancestor life) to put an end to their existences but now he will do it.
I think that his motivation here is Yuuki because he had promised her in the past that he would make a better world for her, a safe one. When Rido attacks he says that "Forgive me, happy times numbed me..." Perhpas this is what he tries to avoid this time. The two plans (Yuuki's safety in a world where she can stand harm free and his original idea to put an end to the existence of those who can in overall be seen as a threat seem to be one and the same in this case). Still crimes are crimes...how is his character going to survive after all these?

Still the Aidou's father murder remains unexplained.. What did he try to achieve with that? This is another mystery that makes me think that perhaps Kaname's plan targets into something quite specific and not an overall blind extermination of the purebloods/vampires.

Lord Aidou would not willingly sacrifice himself for such a cause would he?

Aidou's and Yuuki's trust are both put in the test now. Very nice remark about Kaname's line to Yuuki; that she in a hurry to accuse him...

And Aidou's father words are sounding like a prophecy: How are you going to stand against/stop Kaname? A small girl like yourself...you are the only one...

He sounds like he almost knew a part of the plan. Don't you agree? perhaps this is why to him to agree and to play along with just a few of Kaname's words.

You've got a point here juliet about Lord Aidou, Kaname and Yuki. So, Lord Aido knew, Ruka and Akatsuki perhaps they know as well (they were both talking to Kaname). I hope Lord Aidou's words not to come true and that Yuki will choose to trust Kaname... or at least not to stand against him!

The feeling that Kaname has nothing to do with Sarah grows stronger in every new idea that we are talking about. It's just a feeling though! There are no clues to reassure us!

In the last chapter though he acted like he was her ally!!! Sara goes "I need the hands of the hunter" and then Kaname gets there and kills Hanadagi.. What the hunters are supposed to think? obviously that, and then he goes on a sacrifices a pawn of his own camp (Aidou's dad)...

Perhaps Kaname intends to let Sara get the more powers she can get so he can devour her whole at the end and take the powers all together?

My first thought was that maybe Kaname killed Hanadagi to prevent Sara to take all the power from him ... hm but then your theory I think is stronger.

Perhaps he killed Hanadagi also for the reason that you mention eventhough Sara had gotten a part of his power through his heart (I think that Sara wanted to be the mistress of the ancestor, since she could not kill him but she was determined to feed him to wake him up -Rido's case).

In any way her plan did not roll out since the ancestor had waken up and now she had to find a way to take a part of his powers (thus the heart) but also to get rid of him- hunter's hand mention. So Kaname does the job for her (that's a surprise)...we will see his reasons later on.

About the sentence that you refered to in the spoiler, double crossing would be a rather suprising twist here (Aidou's dad was the one actually telling him that he should stop Sara) I am not sure.
To me it sounded like Kaname expresses his opinion about the vampires weak state to take an initiative -function- on their own but they do expect to follow the purebloods - previous to the spoiler sentence Kaname also asks: "You can not judge the vampire society without the purebloods?" or something like that ( I am stating that from memory).
So we see that Kaname's opinion about the vampires in general is low and he seems not to share the idea about the sacred pureblood lineage that other vampires praise all the time. We have seen that before when he goes against the council when they come to arrest Zero- if I am not wrong, there he also had stated that "Why someone to pay for the life of a pureblood?"...

Juliet, I had a flashback now. Sara said that one day she'll be the Queen. In order to do that, she will have to take down Kaname and Yuuki as well. There is no way that Kaname isn't aware of her intentions and that's why he'll never be her ally. At least not a real one!

Yes indeed and plus to what you are saying here we had the Aidou's statement at the hunters that Kaname hates Sara so he would not be cooperate with her.

In the past it was refered that the Kurans had managed to become Kings because of the special anti-vampire power they had as an advantage to the others purebloods vampires.

So I think that in order for Sara to be Queen she certainly needs to get that power (and Yuuki is the obvious target as she is young and inexperience), eitherwise why would the other purebloods respect or fear her or aknowledge her as their leader?

This special anti-vampire power I think could be the target of many vampires and we saw Yuuki's picture with daggers all around her. That's why Kaname had been so overprotecting about her I believe.

We definetely have to wait more and see plus where is the scanlation, it seem like years have passed...

I currenntly wonder about the other pureblood families. Who have been left? Are we about to meet more? Yuuki had referred to 7 currently alive families, 7 or 6 I think, I must look at it. I am actually thinking that under that view there are not many more purebloods..unless Hino introduces more to us on the way...

And Kaname says that they were a total of 33 people (including those who had been away for a long time)/ and now they are even fewer left...

Shirabuki is Sara...Ouri is dead, Sara killed him at the ball, so is Hanadagi.....Touma is wounded by Kaname or dead? Do we know anything about Hio and Shoutou?? (maybe something was mentioned before which I don't remember??)
