Kaname and Zero... same?!~

So i have heard a lot of people say that Kaname and Zero have a lot of similarities. Also the last few chapters also suggested the same. do you think that Kaname and Zero are same? If so then how and could this be a coincidence or is it another to anticipate?

What do you mean "same"? Can you clarify the similarities that you see, to clear the picture a bit, please?

Um, well... same as in their behavior and attitude, also the changes of their lives... I wanted you to tell me in what things they were similar, lol

There aren't some similarities between them. Sometimes they act similar and they are both so much in pain. I'm sure they both have no trust in people because they was hurted many times. It can call them introverts. But that is all.

Kaname act very calmly, he never shows his feelings to others and he cannot open himself to them. He has lived for many years, he knows vampire's nature so he doesn't trust them. But he is very good leader, he shows respect to people. He can also show his love to Yuuki, he can be very gentle, understanding and tender to her. He realises his plans and doesn't act without consideration, he is sensible but he is also unpredictable.

Zero is rebellious guy who cannot show his love, he is very hot-tempered, he act without consideration althought now it seems he is going to change..
Zero suffered a lot but he still has a little experience comparing with Kaname.

Τhey do seem in the same secretive mood lately even though Zero just acts that way about his feelings (but perhaps they have not changed and that much so there is nothing secretive there, we already seen him having problems).

Things that I can see really common among them is like that:
they both need a purpose to go on...Kaname has Yuuki and Zero has his hate or his objective (as Ichirou at the grave mentioned which I have not understand and which is it)...but yes they both need fuel to go on, no matter how they call it...

And another thing is that they both defend the weaks (you may not believe it but yes we saw Kaname acting like that and supporting the hunters even though he had lost an important person to him), respecting things...

They both fight for the good even though they act out of personal reasoning for that (as I mentioned above) but they do not harm anyone in reality...

Ha? Why who did he really hurt that did not really deserve to, Rido? Shizuka? The council? As a friend of mine says all that he did was on his way to protect...

But anyway yes his means can be dark and secretive. But you never answered your post, are they alike? Zero is turning secretive as well though and at the special chapter, he had tha glance again...to tell you the truth wasn't that a vampire look? Very sexy indeed.

They are both handsome and untalkative... and suffering a lot like Gothe's Werter :roll:

Zero is a good person who want to kill vampires, because his life has been broken by one of them. It is not because of his cruelty, but his way of thinking, he sees happiness and safety of people in destroying of vampire's society.

Kaname is kindharted( It is nothing to be suprised ) bot he is also determined and logical. The goal is more important for him that the way of setting his objective. He calculates his moves like good chess players but his goal is creatin a better world.

I think they are alike a bit, but no way is Zero a love deprived, love hungry evil dude.. oopsiesss

I can see some sililarities with zero and kaname.

Both of them have been through some form of trauma. Zero lost his parents and was chanaged into a creature he had been brought up to mistrust and kill. Kaname lost his adopted parents and he also lost people who were close to him back in his nacestor days. They both know the feeling of loss, to lose family and people close to them.

Zero was betrayed by ichiru the night his parents died, and i have a feeling kaname has been betayed aswell.

They both dont let people in easily. They both shoulder their pain on their own. They both want to protect their loved ones and their ideals. They both have a goal they wish to achieve.

So in some ways they are similar but they are very different in many ways. They have very different personalities and do things very differently.

An interesting similarity between them is that they both had a scenario were they tried to kill their master, but realized in shock that they couldn't.

ofcourse there are the similarity's that are already mentioned by others, but this topic kinda reminds me of the situation with the blood tablets
kain noticed before (dunno wich chapter) that kaname was taking a huge amount of blood tablets, when he just lost his parent and yuuki
now kaito noticed the same thing about zero
so i guess the situation zero is in now, and the situation kaname used to be in, are the same

Well first i should say i am a fan of kaname and to all the fans of both kaname and zero please put your differences aside and think of what Kaname and Zero have in common and how they can relate to each. To the fans who love both kaname and zero you guys are welcome here too

hmm...seriously? Both are loners who have concrete plans (unclear to us) for the future. Both have had human parents (hunters count as human, right?) and I think both don't like being vampires (Kaname, IMO, seems to not like being a vampire, just not as strongly as Zero)

Both are very arrogant and they both distance themselves from people

absolutely correct

both have feelings for yuuki, they may differ but I think both of them have strong feelings towards her
