If Kaname left Yuuki

What do you believe chapter 64? Kaname would leave Yuuki? Would you like that? Or how would you characterize his act if happening?

I think he really left Yuuki T_T
He probebly think that he needed her to go find her own way ore something!
I just hope does two will come back together again.
Also i think it's really good that Kaname left her, (even though it made me cry T_T)
I think that yuuki will make a decition about the person who she loved.
(hopefully i's Kaname!)

If he left her..I'd poke him with a pink feather o.o Seriously, no. I'd just smack him for being emo. C'mon dude, if you love the chick, just stay with her, help her 'grow' or do whatever hundred year old vampired do (having a Twilight moment *shudders* never again) But honestly, I don't think he left her. It just doesn't seem like a Kaname move to do, especally with the whole Vampire politics comming about. If he did leave, Zero can have his shinning momet and swoop in for the kill and make Yuuki his. But then again, he's too busy poking Aidou with his shiny gun -.-' Vampires yeash!

No no, I kid I kid *is such a sadist*. Actually, it's hard for me to believe that Kaname would really leave her, especially after everything he has done upto that point; it makes it senseless to suddenly dispose of her (bad word, more like "abandon"). But then again, there might be a cool plot twist if it does happen. Maybe there's something "more" we don't know about him or there's just something utterly mysterious and dark (and hot) about him I wonder if it will affect the plot in any way, like how Zero or the vampire hunters would act. If Kaname goes back to Yuki, it doesn't really change the progress of the story, but if he doesn't, something shocking might happen. Would Yuki end up with Zero now? It will be difficult but who knows. Questions and more questions

If he has left her (I am not sure though and neither any of us can be) I would be very happy to tell you the truth.

In overall Yuuki needs to sort out her thoughts and her feelings and think twice before reaching any decision. This live triangle has really kept too long and Yuuki needs to see on her own what she really needs and wants. I think that this is about the time to found out.

Far more than this he has done enough already and he also certainly needs a break. It's like two people having too much of each other, if you give space then you are about to see things clearly.


But as Kaname is too attached to her, I doubt it, there are other scenarios as well, he may have gone to help Aidou or he may left leaving Yuuki some time to consider on her own all that she saw and may have set a meeting place to tell the continuation of his story (there are still the missing children to go) and he still has not fullfilled his promise to take her in that special place where roses bloom.

In the preview of the next chapter is Yuuki looking at a map or is it my idea?

I think he is going to leave her. It is horrible, but most propably Hino-sensei want to do action faster and more interesting. It is weird because at first he don't let her go out alone and suddenly he leave her to be unsafe.

I am still not conviced but you never know (LOL this is Hino)

@ Akasuisame you are right that after all he did that does not sound logical, I am sure that Kaname would never literally leave-leave Yuuki, I see it more like giving space to her. He will be there if she really, really needs her.

In my POV from the moment that he returned Artemis to her, Yuuki could go anywhere she pleased, he trusted her so that point has happened already, now it is her decision. He told her all that he had, he gave what he had to give and now leaves it to her to decide.

I am very anxious about the next chapter...

One sentence was intresting in the last chapter. It was "one person cannot be replaced by another. This is why is so hard to say goodbye". Did Hino give us a small suggestion ?

you've got something there, maybe as juliet had said, Kaname left her to let her have some space but will return again.
For me to tell the true, i just don't know why i see this, but the ancestor at this new chapter (64) why the hell does she start to look so much like Yuuki??
and some line she said is also similar to what Yuuki will have said -_- .....
I know fully that she probably is not ''YUUKI'' but gosh the way she speeks is soo similar to Yuuki's way. Maybe Kaname is seeing that women in Yuuki, but then again he was the one who said, NO one can replace another.

You thought so then now, after chapter 67, you sound right about the suggestion. So what happened there? Did he leave Yuuki for good? I am afraid he did this time around even though sounds hard to believe because if so what will Yuuki do from further on? she is not the totally independed girl, right? and from powers, em ya...!!!

I don't think he is going to leave her now. He want to create a safe world for her so he may plan to sacrifice himself. Kaname is very skilfull planner so we will see result soon.

In the new traslation that was released in Lj community by Raven it does sound like he is not leaving her...I am more confused now LOL

kaname left yuuki in chapter 67 at the last page . do you think he will return soon? for me it seems he left her for a considerable time (mabye to kill another purebloods) but I hope I'm wrong!! he should come back to her soon.

I don't think he left her. He is rather sure she leaves him after seeing that. I hope it isn't true and Yuuki will choose staying on the Kaname"s at the end. As she said: "even if you are tainted, I don't mind...I love your hand oniisama, tainted or not."
I wish Yuuki was consequent in her choice...

I am so sorry I don;t have time to read all the above posts - so I propably tell one opinion that had said already. But I think that the only reason that Kaname left Yuuki at this point is only to protect her. The hunters would run after him after the death of this pureblood (whom I always forget his name) - so the only reasonable explanation for me is that kaname want to keep the hunters away from yuuki.

Maybe it is as other's said that he'll leave and come back. *sigh* I can see it now Yuuki will go live with the headmaster till Kaname plans to come back after space and Yuuki is going to think it's for good. I can image how it'll be when kaname picks when to come back.

THat would be great,to see how much Kaname loves Yuuki to the extend of taking her away from others and lock her and make her all to himself,making love all night kyaaaa,if so i wanted to be yuuki

I think it's only temporary. That's what all the signs point to at least. Upon already having his plan in motion to leave after speaking with Ruka and Akatsuki he agreed to start over with her. He also said if she was good and waited for him that he would do whatever she wanted. Directly after that he left to do what he planned to do right before even having that talk with Yuuki.

It wouldn't be necessary for Hino to have written him saying that if there was no meaning in the words. She could have had him simply state he had to do something important and apologize instead of promising for a return. She isn't the type of writer who has had her characters say something for no reason. Every single thing in her series has always had a reason, which is one of the things I love about her. Her talent in writing is dropping hints while keeping the big picture in general unpredictable with the readers still slightly in the dark. I can't imagine her changing her style after years.

It appears Kaname has always wanted to kill the other purebloods, but it also seems like Yuuki's protection could also give him more motivation for it. Think about it for a moment. All the things that have always caused Kaname and Yuuki to be taken apart from each other have been purebloods. First it was Rido with his desire to devour Yuuki, now it is Sara's desire to kill Yuuki and then Kaname to become the pureblood queen. All the dangers the purebloods also have been shown to be directed at Yuuki and put her in harm since she was born. If the situation was to keep repeating over and over Yuuki would never be safe entirely and their future happiness would always be interrupted by the threat of danger. Taking out all other purebloods ensures for a better future. Not only would Yuuki be safe from them, but noble's wouldn't be controlled against their will anymore, there would be no more fights for power between them, and Level E's would become extinct. If there weren't any purebloods to change human's into vampires no new Level E's would be created. Eventually the Vampire Hunter's would rid the world of all the Level E's, that would only be logical. Things would be more at peace and co existing would be entirely possible.

I think Kaname has all this in mind, but just doesn't want Yuuki to be involved in it. Yuuki doesn't yet know much about the vampire society yet. She has been said to be comparable to a "toddler" on the subject. She is innocent and gentle. Those factors of her personality are two of the things Kaname loves about her. He probably wouldn't want her to forsake herself and dirty her innocent hands with the blood of other purebloods, where he himself is already known to be forsaken. It would be a good reason for him to want to keep her away, apart from the obvious reason of danger.


As far as would I like it, no I would not.
In all series I like what is the most logical and long anticipated.
For Kaname to have a complete 180 turn about wanting to stay with Yuuki or not at this point would be completely out of his character and would seem too "forced" on the general plot. We're roughly in the middle of the second half, approaching the start of the ending of it. This second part is also the last part to the series. It wouldn't make sense to have them go through that the entire plot up to this point only for it to be decided they won't be together. It would be comparable to deciding to change something at the very last minute and delivering a less than desirable ending as a result to it.

If i was Yuuki i'd be like "If you leave now, then don't ever come back" and then i would step out of the situation.
Or if it the Yuuki were talking about she'd probably wait for him, even if it took forever...

Well it would be sad for her to stay alone at the end but I hope that if there is really no chance of a return of Kaname that she finds someone else
I hope that she will wait when there is a chance for a reunite

If I would be yuuki and kaname would leave me...I would stalk him till the end of the world and back.
he won't be able to free himself from me

"If Kaname Left Yuuki" Hmm... well Kaname did leave Yuuki and if you read recent chapters we all saw what came of it Yuuki somewhat went back to her old self...just a tiny bit. Like the fact that she pulled out a prefect badge and started taking control of the night class students. She's tougher than she looks x3 I think he may have wanted her to learn a bit of responsibilty and fending for herself while he's gone doing his stuff... But..out of nowhere just as quickly as he disappeared, he came back! We shall have to wait and see what he says in the next chapter.
