    I was just wondering if anyone here can please help me with something. I've been looking through the manga for the last couple of days looking for that flashback scene where Zero refuses to be adopted by Kaien (because he doesn't want to be Yuuki's family) and I can't find it anywhere sFun_banghead2

    If anyone can please tell me what chapter that was I'd really appreciate it cheers Thanks

    No there was no page where Zero refused to be adopted. If my memory is correct. if anyone else finds it please do im curious myself lol

    but there's a page where he said they're not family:
    its in volume 8 side story extra,

    Solace same impression here...

    scratch Kara, the only pages that I can think of that can be revelant, it's at the beggining of the manga where Zero and yuuki are in Kaien's office and Zero says to Yuuki:"You are his legal daughter" or something like that where it shows that Zero is not adopted by Cross.

    Got to go, so can't really check on this, but this is the only case that I remember.

    Thank you !!! cheers Sorry, I guess I just remembered it wrong (he didn't refuse to be adopted there) but that was still the page I was looking for, so thanks sweetsolace sLo_BigBearHug

    Also, juliet do you know the chapter you were referring to in Kaien's office...? I should probably go back and reread the whole manga since I can barely remember what happened early in the first arch scratch

    You might have taken care of me but I dont remember ever becomeing your son,... This is probily what she ment, I dont think zero was actualy adopted by cross but only left in his care, yugari is his guardin.

    here Zero says " you are more his kid than I am..." but in volume 1, in the official translation its slightly different, Zero says ...

    "yuki you are really headmaster's adopted daughter so say something"


    m..that's preety much all that i remember...about the subject..

    In the first chapter zero say to cross "i don't remember being your son"(something like that, i didn't checked), but that is in the first chapter i am sure. in that chapter zero tell cross "find another guardian, this (he pointed at yuuki)is more than useless" (i found that funny).

    At the first English translated chapter it says

    -Kaien: If I let my adorable son and my beloved daughter do it, I don't have to grieve over it.

    -Zero: True, you've taken care of me! But I don't recall having become your adopted son!

    -Kaien: Kiryu, you are too concerned with details. Don't worry so much!

    We love triangle!!! And besides Zero can't stand the personality so positive and funny of Kaien!! Also he loves Yuuki so it would be strange if he was adopted....!!! What a forward-looking guy!!! Eh eh eh!!! ^^
