good vampire books/manga to read!

i'm low on things to read i like dark and Gothic kinda books/manga. here's what i'v already read.
vampire books

vampire academy by Richelle Mead (amazing best vampire book ever, vampire knights got a compo)
the vampire diaries by L.J.Smith (it's pretty good)
vampire knight by Matsuri Hino (super cool manga)

What I'm reading currently related with vampires are the "Orange marmalade" and the "Lost in London" ...

The "Lost in London" is gothic and more dark but the other is cute and romantic.

Some Gothic - vampire related ( but not exactly about vampires only ) novels are :

The Mortal Instruments saga ( 4 books for now ) : City of Bones , City of Ashes , City of Glass and City of Fallen Angels and The Infernal Devices saga ( 2 books for now ) : Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince . By Cassandra Clare .
More Gothic than vampires . But you get your share of vampires and werewolves also . If you like vampire / monster hunters I think you'll like these ones . A lot of action mixed with the romance part . Not pink girly romance . So a guy don't have to hide in a closet to read it .
Beware : there are incest and homosexuality ( not in the main LT if worried ) issues in the first saga . So be open minded here .

One I'm starting to read . But I liked the first one . Is the Parasol Protectorate series : Souless , Changeless , Blameless , Heartless and Timeless ( complete ). from Gail Carriger . Also more Gothic victorian thematic than vampires . But also there are werewolves and vampires thrown in the mix . About a spinster lady ( later a married lady ) who is a preternatural ( basically was born as a vampire / monster hunter ). And her adventure involving the London supernatural underworld with a silver pointed - parasol .

Another note : Both the Infernal Devices and Parasol Protectorate series are being turned into manga format by Yen editorial .

Very Gothic ( but no vampire in site ) is the Wicked Lovely series : Wicked Lovely , Ink Exchange , Fragile Eternity , Radiant Shadows and Darkest Mercy ( completed )by Melissa Marr . It's about faires . Wit some of the wickest LT I had read in a young adolescent series ever . The main LT quicly becames a square . The second one has the most weird resolution I had read recently ( yes! A trio , two bisexual guys with a girl . HA ! HA ! ) .

This one has a weird combination of vampires and angels . In reality they are more fashion oriented vampires than Gothic . But who can argue against rich , good looking vampires / fallen angels who rule New York aristocratic world as intriguing ? The Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz : Blue Bloods , Masquerade , Revelations , The Van Allen Legacy , Misguided Angel and Lost in Time ( one pending to complete the story this year ) . And a short stories book : Bloody Valentine .

Note : the same incest warning applies here .

De la Cruz had started a more mature series with another exotic mix : witches with Asgard Gods . No vampires here .( Okay I'm kind of lying . Both are in the same world . There is a mild crossover between her previous vampire saga here and the new one . Nothing critical to understand any story . ) . This one has more explicit sex . The first novel is Witches of East End ; if someone wants to try .

I'll only mention here a manga about vampires with a dahs of Gothic that its very good . But absolutelly no pink romance here and tons of naked heavy - breasted ladies . ( it's Seinen ) : Dance in the Vampire Bund by Nozumu Tamaki .

Warning : Not only very violent . But Lolita ( not exactly true but ??? ) and Shota romance mixed somewhere .

To tell you the truth I haven’t formed a solid opinion about it yet … as you can see there aren’t many chapters available.
The theme is about a girl who fell in love with an old vampire who came in her town to prevent/investigate some crimes committed from other bad vampires.
There are also vampire hunters’ lol and seems like the girl’s family has a connection with the hunters and maybe with vampires without the girl knowing about it not yet at least.
The art is interesting thus and it caught my attention. XD

Ohh some good ones I read forever ago.... Vampire Beach ( i forget the author^^;), Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber has like 7 books and it has a manga too, The House of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast is a really good one It's very unique and just too complicated to explain, but i would recommend it the most! It had several books out and there is even a website for it. Evernight is a good story, it's sort of romantic, this girl is going to a new school and she's dreading it... but secretly it's a school for vampires and there are only a few humans there as a new program to promote getting along with humans. One student the trouble maker, turns out to be a vmapire hunter and is chased out of the school, but the catch is he and the new girl are in love. I won't spoil a very important detail ;), and of course a classic, though some people might think it's boring, The Vampire Chronicles - starting with Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice

Oh yea and a good Vampire Manga, is Millenium Snow! It's by the same author as Ouran High School Host Club, Hatori Bisco. It actually has a vampire and a werewolf in it ( btw the werewolf looks exactly like Tamaki xD), Hana to Akuma is a really good manga but it's not exactly about vampires... there's a lot of demons, and actually they are almost just like Vampires because they have fangs and drink blood, and have that dark sexy aura about them ;) It's about one demon living in the human world, who finds a baby at his doorstep and decides to raise her. She falls in love with him many years later, but since he had a very high rank in the demon world, people start pestering him to come back and causing trouble and drama.

Edit: Oops I thought you said only vampire mangas. If you like gothic type mangas in general, I suggest Kuroshitsuji, Blood + ( yes it has a manga ), Le Portrait de Petite Cossette, and God Child. :3

i can support these books/ series too

Although I´m a vampire diaries-fan I love true blood too (well very often someone loves only one of them and hates the other)

House of night is great too, although I don´t like Zoey the protagonist, it´s worth watching the other characters too (for example the hot Stark^^)

Do you read the vampire diaries and do you watch the series or do you only read the books? because it is worth doing both because they are quite different it´s great that you´re a Dalena too

My suggestion for you would be Trinity blood (manga). The main protoganist Abel Nightroad always reminded me somehow of Kain Cross. (He also has a friendly, clumsy and a dark and deadly side)
