Honestly Seiren doesn't even seem like the dating type. o.O She's like this awesome secretive powerful bodyguard of Kaname's, who says very little...and when she does it's by Kaname's order. And that's about the gist of what we know about her. Heck I don't think we even know her rank as a Vampire! o.o So with her lack of relationship with anyone really, I don't think she'd be dating... it's kind of a funny idea to me lol You know with her being the most mysterious character in VK ( in my opinion) I've actually theorized before that it's possible she's related to the Ancestress. Like, if she was a descendant of her, vowed to protect Kaname by family duty or something... Really I want to know more about Seiren's past now. xD She wasn't even with Kaname as a kid tho...she just showed up at cross academy and said he was her master. Very strange... I don´t think that Kaname would turn humans into vampires because he isn´t quite a fan of his race... but I like your idea of Seiren beeing related to the HW, someone who is by Kaname´s side and helps him thinking about the past and accompanies him by fulfilling his wishes....
I think too that she isn´t the type of woman who is a master in flirting (or a woman who really is interested in dating a guy and marriage and children) but it would be nice if we get to know more about her and if she opens up a little (in my head the idea of Yagari and Seiren is funny but unfortunately it´s only imagination^^)

seiren's past and status is so carefully hidden by hino.no we can think that either she does not care about the char or she cares so much that she wants to reveal everything in climax.i really wanna know seiren's things,she is so cool and i would love to know what her exact relationship with kaname is.and i really wanna see her dating either takuma or aido.i think aido and seiren are good.

I think she will die in the story because she doesn't make such attenction on the plot,so if Kaname is attacked the other one(besides Yuuki)to proteck him would be Seiren

Then please give me some links where we see her love...I never saw an amorous look on her face when she saw Kaname...For me her love isn´t really obvious, her loyalty can come from something really different

Maybe Hino doesn't realize that the fans would care she is so mysterious? Like..she overlooked it? Maybe Seiren was just thrown in there cuz she was like " Well... Kaname's a big bad pureblood, and usually the most powerful person in a story needs faithful servants. Here, I'll throw in this BA bodyguard chick to protect him...it's my excuse to keep him safe for longer than he should be...fufufu..;3" xD and she needs no character development because that's all we need to know.... Kaname has a loyal bodyguard/servant...right? xD Seems fishy though... at this point we even know more about the Ancestress than her.. that's sad considering Seiren's been there since chapter 1. T-T I need to go back and look for clues in the fanbook..but i don't think I saw anything the first time...>.> You know what though....? I don´t think that these two options are the only one...maybe Seiren´s family always supported the Kurans like Hanadagi´s servant, this woman with the dark skin, she seems to be really loyal too and not because hanadagi turned her...

I do think Seiren is the human sacrifice offered by the Vampire Senate to Kaname after the death of Haruka and Juuri . The one mentioned at chapter 48 . If Seiren was the " worst sin of Kaname " the story mentioned ; it could be due to Seiren originally didn't wanted to be a vampire . Nor Kaname by the way . But Kaname ended biting Seiren to be in good eyes with the Vampire Senate as he was so young ( about 13 1/2 vampire years old ) to even try to beat them in their own game at that moment .

What I could say is if Seiren was turned by Kaname ; he eventually stabilized her as Level D vampire . So Seiren become a servant under her pureblood master Kaname . No other option for her but to follow Kaname's order .

It's not so shabby to think Seiren was originally from a human ninja family . Due to her powers .

OT: I'm curious myself to know more about Seiren she's so loyal to Kaname, and I have always wondered why. I wonder if Aidou will become Yuuki's loyal servant every PB seem to have one. Maybe Seiren is in love with Kaname, or maybe she doesn't have a mate and is happy to just serve her master.

Maybe you're right. I think that Kaname did turn her, or she drank his blood. Why else would she be so loyal to him? Or perhaps he saved her life so she somehow feels indebted to him.

I don’t think that we will see Seiren coupled and I also do not think that this is necessary … on the contrary I would find it childish if every character in this story ends coupled lol.

Certainly I do not believe that Seiren is IN love with Kaname but she might love him as a person cuz of who he is and perhaps cuz of the way he treated her. Either way all the previous NC (I mean the protagonists) loved Kaname in a way or another and were loyal to him so why not Seiren as well.

However my feeling is that Seiren has a different story in her background than the rest nobles’ vampires (Ruka, Hanabusa, Takuma etc) and her social status isn’t the same. The mystery that covers her profile in the fanbook triggers our curiosity more I guess and I think this “mystery” about Seiren perhaps isn’t random from Hino but indeed there is a story to be revealed.
She was always Kaname’s shadow, knew always where he was and she addresses to him as master.
Furthermore she pops up every time that Kaname needs something trivial (as to show Yuuki her room at the Kuran mansion) or more important as to give him his sword in the previous chapter. << This made me think that they might communicate through blood.

The thought that Kaname needs her as shield/bodyguard to stay alive is hahaha I think from what we have seen through and though in the story and especially in the latest chapters is more than obvious that Kaname is indeed almighty (well except from his haters I guess ) and certainly he doesn’t need a lower-level vampire to protect him from death hahaha …

Another thought that crossed my mind for Seiren’s origins is that perhaps she comes from a family which traditionally used to serve Kaname and the Kurans in monarchy times. What triggered this thought was the info of her trained body. Such feature ain’t peculiar in Japanese culture (I have come across with this tradition in many manga lol).
In this case again Seiren’s background cannot be revealed before we know about the rest of Kaname’s past.

Ps. opposite attract honey,plus seiren has shared two pages with aido in manga,one where he went with her to the day class students when they already realized they were all vamps and second when aido was punished to check peas and seiren was funnily pushing him out of the door.i still don't think aieren is possible but if it happens i will be so so happy.
