I really have no idea why there is so much sadness expressed between them...I hope that I am not the only who observes it...perhaps it's mostly Kaname, he always goes in a depression/apologizing/too intense feeling moments, like something is haunting him. I hope that Hino Matsuri fixes it, they certainly need a little more carefree and laughable moments. Or Kaname's persona is more serious for more fun? I do not know but something is depressing about them and I hope that's not my idea (or maybe I do hope that this is my idea).

No Juliet I am afraid that you have right. There is always so much sadness between them.
Favorited scenes.. too many..I always enjoy when there is a scene that saws Kaname protecting her (not only her body, but her innosence mostly). Like he did when he slap Aido instead of her.
And when he express his feeling, he is so adorable!!! ''Did I have to say it loud Yuuki that I love you?'' How you can resist when someone tells you something like that????

I also find Kaname too much in love with Yuuki...
He has devoted his meaning and his life to her, if she leaves him (fortunately that won't happen) he will go
at least. But you know there is sadness among them because they have not resolved their feelings yet (Yuuki with Zero's issue and Kaname about his past and his secret). These two obstacles they will have to overcome, then we will see them happy and carefree (luckily that will happen).

My favorite Moments for Yume are:
The ball between the Night Class and the Day Class -- I thought that scene was soooo cute!
Another one of my favorites is when she is found on the ground, knocked out and Kaname saves her and nearly turns her in the room that reminds her a lot of familiar place... Hehe
And my last fave is when she tackles him to the bed (After becoming a vampire) and bites into her neck fiercely like a beast!

They certainly had and may have romantic moments but the fact that one year now they are playing the good brother-sister theme is a bit strange. With all that promises and "Taint-me too, Oni-Sama", after a year the last thing that I expected was to see them like this. I remember fans saying that they would have a baby and bla, bla, bla. Back then they had the potential and the dynamic to develop but that never happened. Why? Is Hino doing it for censorship reasons?

well, the fact that Yuuki is in love with Kaname alone, is not enough for her to be really involved to a pureblood's life. (sorry if you don't get what I mean but here its 2.37 in the morning and I'm a little sleepy!!
) I mean that she has to get used to the idea of living forever, drinking blood etc (I mention drinking blood because we saw that she had a problem with the idea of using her fangs)So 1 year maybe seems like too much time for us, but probably isn't enough for her to totally accept her pureblood-vampire nature!
