Aido Starting A Fight

Why is Aido trying to start a fight between kaname and zero here.?

It is almost like he is trying the encourage zero to take yuki away, I just dont get why kanames biggist suporter would say this, anyone else got any thoughts on the matter?

I can call it good advice. Aidou is well informed, he always have suspected about relationship beteen Kaname and Zero, maybe he is more friendly towards Zero than he is aware of it?

I think he was just annoyed at this point which made him go and state the obvious to Zero, like "Why don't you try and take Yuuki instead of doing nothing about it?" I doubt he was trying to pitch him against Kaname, again, he was just stating the obvious. (At least to him, it appearantly is.)

Ha, ha, I liked Aidou's sincerity here. I agree with Howl but I have to change one sentence....

"Why don't you try and take Yuuki instead of bothering me with your nonsense?" Aidou to me seems annoyed due to his personal interference with this story. Apparently is not that he likes Zero neither he wants to start a conflict, he is just impulsive as always and speaks his mind on the case on how he would act more as a man than Zero currently does.

I wonder how Zero did not jump on him due to this unexpected honesty and how he was not irritated by that remark.

he did. late reaction... it was when Aido was already placed in a cell and he grabbed him by the collar telling him it wasnt possible that yuki could've told him to tell what aido just said at the wagon

lol it is a bit funny at first.. at the wagon, Aido was staring point blank at Zero, wanting to say something (he must have been holding back giving his comment about his relationship with Yuki all these time ) and zero didn't react at his comment at first.. and only did when Aido was inside the cell

Aido seems to follow yuki more then kaname now, so maybe just maybe he wants yuki to be with zero, this is why, aido with kaname, he gets scoulded and has to do a lot of work, aido with zero, he eats a meal ment for 3 people and still demands more, and zero actualy goes to cook it... lol
But back on point, I just found this weird being who he was, to encurage your friends rival to go after his girl.

In the case you are in love with your best friend . His little annoying sister is the love object of that friend . And worst of all , your friend trust you to babysit her . If is not strange to want to get rid of your competition if you could . More if you know there is another boy in love with the girl . Would you try to make whatever you can to change your situation ? Aido appears to tried before . But no successs for now .



More seriously . Aido knows Zero is in love with Yuuki . He appears to be an idiot . But he is not only a genious . He is a good judge of character and personality . Maybe Aido could not understand why Zero is not more agressive for trying to get what he really wants ( Yuuki's love ) . Why Zero is so stubborn to hide his real feelings for Yuuki . Aido also is so impulsive and honest . Even to get in trouble because of this .

0or!! Aido wants Yuuki for himself ,-) yeah sounds weird but couldn´t it be possible that he fell in love with yuuki and tries to let them both fight against each other and just to wait until they are death to get yuuki?^^

I agree with both of you! I haven't read that chapter in a while, but as far as I remember, Aido's words were exactly what I was thinking at that time!!!! I mean, haven't you ever felt it, even when watching a love-story movie, that YOU know that he loves her but for some reasons he is hiding his feelings and you just get sooo mad that you want to break the tv It happened to me when I first saw "the notebook" or when I read "wuthering heights" , but that doesn't mean that I was friends with the heroes So I believe the same happened here, Zero's feelings are so obvious to Aido that he couldn't help but ask him WHY in the name of heavens doesn't he try to be with her but instead prefers to ramble around trying to hide his thirst like some kind of a martyr!

lol! you know... it's like their interactions now are similar to Li Syaoran and Sakura in Cardcaptor Sakura.. they started as rivals in love for Yukito, and Li was hating on Sakura everytime she was having a moe moment with him, but as they worked together in time he began falling for her but he couldn't say it.... *fangirl* I love that anime` haha..

hey wow that was a good example ,-) But I think more then just her knight he won´t be...because the relationship betweeen them is just like "normal" Siblings would have..they are teasing each other and argue a lot.but it´s just fun and they love each other in a patonic way and would do everything to protect the other...

well i think aidou was trying to make zero angry.or just annoy him since he was pissed that he was being taken to association . but i must admit i was angry on him what was he doing encouraging his best friend"s rival

ah dont worry i wasnt speaking about zero hating her or not. i didnt even mention yuki . wasnt it zero but who said that after rido's death they are enemies and pointed bloody rose at her.just said aidou told zero he will not become like zero and be consumed in hatred like zero is towards purebloods and vampires. even when he learned his father was dead.

About Zero pointing the bloodyrose at yuki, I know I have said this before, but the only reason he did that was to get her to kill him, he tryed to force a lethal reaction out of yuki but failed at it, he had no intention of shoting her.

I interpret this scene in another way. Zero has killed Rido, he took a life from his twin brother and it is all he could do on his own will. Althought he undestand in this moment that he was a pawn in another's pureblood hands.
What Zero wanted the most in that moment was the revange against all purebloods. In that moment he was able to forgot everything except this desire.
In my opinion it was only moment he would be able to kill Yuuki, but it is lost now.

I think Zero's first intent was to kill her, because afterwards we got that entire chapter about his feelings and thoughts, starting with "Why can't I pull the trigger?" He apparantly believed he no longer would love her when he knew who she really was, thus his "surprise".

Hm...he thought that hating her vampire nature was enough to kill her, yet he could not. I agree with Akaruisama, if he could not do it at that time when he was on the heat of the moment, I doubt he ever will. Or Hino should give us a very good explanation about Zero's change if that ever happens at a future time.

yes i agree if he didnt do it then why would it make sense to do it later, lol, doesnt seem right... "i didnt shoot her before so now's the time!" sounds really ridiculous and OC as far as i know zero hates purebloods he made it his objective somewhat but i doubt he was serious about wanting to kill yuki at that moment (however those words coming from him must've frightened or convinced her he really hates her..) that said if he doesnt clarify anything about it its still exists, the hate still exists in yuki's mind at least
