What kind of music do you like?

hello!

I want to know which music genres other vampire knight fans are prefering?
and whats your favourite bands, singers, etc?

I know, the poll options are vague...

Well, I am pretty picky with music. Of genres I like Classic best. The music I love in the Final Fantasy games is Classic, and I just love it. The Black Mages are great. I don't really know what category of some of the other music that I like falls under. Anyways, my fave singer is Kanon Wakeshima, I love all of her songs. I also really like Utada Hikaru, who sang the theme songs for Kingdom Hearts. Faye Wong (I believe that is what her name is), who sings the theme of Final Fantasy 8.

That's all I can think of really and at the moment.

Well I´m a little bit weird, I love House-music, techno too, sometimes I listen to this stupid mainstream songs and I like it, five minutes later I ask myself what kind of weird thinking I had

I love classic too, it gives so much emotions to the listener...soundtracks are great too, I bought so many and I can listen to them very often...historical music is interesting too, especially in soundtracks, well I am a little bit weird I know that

Sometimes I listen even to gothik songs if I feel like that but that happens only a few times in a year, but I have some songs I love

For me it's impossible to choose, because I am too complicated when it comes to music... I actually don't like it in general, it makes me unable to work, because it distracts me too much, but from time to time I listen to it.
It depends on the song for me, sometimes I hear a song I like, but I can't even find an artist that would be able to please me, I love one song, but hate the rest...

I voted for other. It really changes from song to song and day to day. My moods...

Depends on my mood or what I am doing while I am listening music. If I write something, then I am listening classic music, it calm's me.

But usually I am listening japanese music, I even forgot when I had listened another kind of music.

I like rock music, but not Metallica type. 30 seconds to mars and linkin park are one of my favors.

I like pop music, and I don't listen rap, it not my type.

Mainly, rock & metal, sometimes a little punk or goth too.

ofcourse that doesn't really say so uch since there are so many subgenres in rock and deffo a lot in metal

it depends on the quality of the voice, the emotion and meaning of the song, the musical instruments used, and how i like it based on my mood

i cant stand rap no matter how good it is. except if it has meaningful lyrics.

I LOVE soundtracks, mostly from video games and from movies. They are usually more meaningful therefore more poignant if they're based on something that you followed through till the end. I listen to this more than local songs. Every moment of listening is like reliving an experience.

The same goes for opening and ending themes of animes, as well as the soundtracks. Ones that are memorable are from jigoku shoujo and higurashi.

Classicals are.. ok. Though only selected few. like secret garden

I like arias, operas and orchestras, even choir music. but mostly arias. Something very soothing about it.

I tend to get fed up with a music I half heartedly like, and go on a search for another batch...and another...

That´s exactly what I meant too, everytime I listen to a soundtrack I know what scene it belongs to. sometimes I imagine some other matching scenes that are dancing in my head too, I absolutely love soundtracks, they can really touch you

I HATE austrian folc music and rap.
And i don't like RNB.
It's boring and annoying.
classic is ok.
soundtracks are ok too but i never listen to them.

I love everything actually. I like song ore a piece of music regardless what kind of type it is. But my preference is actually classic ore opera which is a little bit unusual for a 19 year old like me.

That is what I prefer too and I am not much older than you.

The Final Fantasy games is what made me a fan of classical music.

Techno and industrial rock! Well, that's what makes up the majority of my selection. I'm also a fan of classical and a very limited selection of pop. Daft Punk ftw!

M...everything that goes well with my ear...classic, jazz, rock, pop, latin, i think that all genres have their treasures and picking just one is a very tough case

I love the normal teenage stuff. I also love Japanese music i.e.
Vocaloids, Kanon Wakeshima, On/off etc.

Lately, I'm fascinated by Queen! Really, their music from 70's is amazing! They were genials. I'm wondering now how could I live until now and know almost nothing about such great band!

Yeah I started with Evanesscence ;) The text is mysterious and such. But I really like Three Days Grace Lyrics. Adam Gontier really is a genius when it comes to song writting ;) And Classical is really good while you write, it makes you feel like the words fly down on the paper (Or computer screan) ;)

Somewhere I read that you should listen to classic while learning because it is so harmonious and you can concentrate better
I remember three days grace...but I only know the songs "Animal I have become" and "I hate everything about you" I loved both of them ;) I got to know them after my hard anime time when I watched all those dramatic vids in the net (these of songs seemed to be really popular in shonen^^)
