I write it here althought it's a question rather out of topic.

Hmm... most of us like shoujo manga and anime because of beautifull love stories told there and amazingly handsome guys called bishonen. Who are your favorite bishonen (it means the list of bishounen is asking there, because I'm sure everybody answer Kaname or Zero ;)).

Ηm, I am manga drop out :sSig_what: LOL I confes, I read then I drop them, most of the time due to lack of time or not enough interest in the story or the story is too long...

Vampire Kiss (that was very cute)
Skip Beat ( I am currently trying to)
Midnight Secretary (all about blood and sex)
Death note ( still trying to)
Ouran High School (in about ten years I will have probably read it, even though I like it better than the others...LOL)
Lady Georgie (they left it unfinished and too romantic)
Candy-Candy ( now they republish the novel, the manga is a very old one)
and I want to read Nana (but I am discouraged because I heard that the story was left in the middle by the author)...
Mental Alchemist (not too excited)
Meri Puri (prior Hino's work and very cute) Aram reminds me of Kaname by the way, I will upload a picture later on so you can see...
And I want also to read Captive Hearts (even though the story is not completely finished)...

Well, almost a quarter of my Shoujo list has lone-shots consisting of lemons/ smut. But i haven't read a lot of Shoujo cause' there are a lot of mangas, but no time.
Hm, i love Death Note and i also got annoyed with Ouran High School Host Club, but nevertheless i did read it.
You should try Skip Beat and Midnight Secretary for sure, but if you want something differnet, i would recommend Noblesse. Its a Shonen manga and its amazing. I have so many favs that i can't deicde which one i like more, bur currently i am stuck between Bleach and Noblesse for my top fav. :Smilies_Angry_
Oh and Juliet, if you want to read one-shot lemons that the best site is,

thanks for the link, i will try it out when I have time, I've read Midnight Secretary and Skip Beat ( I currently try to find time to read it appropriately) but then I do not have that much time and then I go back again and read again to remember the plot and I so I get confused and if I do not find it enough interesting I kind drop it and then I go back again in circles (oh I got a headache . Not enough manga? )

I am reading a bit here and there...and then I enjoy fanfictions very much and I like reading them (recently I was reading True blood fanfiction ) could not help it... LOL

Well, like you i get easily tired of animes, but i never get tired of mangas.
There has been only 2-3 mangas that i had started but then stopped.

Candy Candy was the first manga I ever read published in my country when I was 9 years old and that's why it's still one of my favourites.

as far as I know, a shoujo is a manga which targets girls between 13-18/20 -during adolescence. why candy candy doesn't sound like a shoujo? actually I wanted to ask, which "themes" are allowed in a shoujo?? because I've read quite a few which are labeled as shoujo but finally had "mature" content.... but when I started reading shoujo I had in mind something like Candy, the story of a young girl, her school life, her first kiss, her first love :wub:etc etc - but the truth is I re-read Candy 2 years ago (I saw the anime when I was 4-years-old but was deep down stucked in my heart since then ) and I thought it was very very "dark" at some points for a little child (many deaths and much crying for a four-year-old to bear)

he gets on my nerves because he acts like the whole world belongs to him and he can do whatever he wants- no matter if it's right or wrong- just because he has money!!! I don't think he's mature, he is totally the opposite, just a spoiled kid...

Have you read Hadashi de bara wo fume? I love it? But there is some problems with translation. Do you think also that this blonde, Nozomu is in reality a brother of Sumi- there are very similar. :roll:
