Ιf not Yuuki then who do you expect Zero to be with?

I know it's a bit early to talk about the end...but i could not resist asking or initializing a discussion on the subject.

I also understand that this can be viewed as a debate at the aspect if Zeki has chances or not, but this is merely a question that is about how Zero's and Vk's fans in general would expect Zero to be, if Zero-Yuuki, does not happen after all.

What do you think about it? Would you be happy with Maria or Yori for Zero? would you prefer Zero to be alone or would you prefer another possible mate?

For example I do see a lack here; Zero is a hunter so in order to expand his lineage (of the Kiryu's hunter) he also needs a hunter girl (that I do not see existing right now in the script). So that means that Zero's lineage will cease to exist? wouldn't that also be unfair?

It is hard to say.
I think Zero can match with every girl to make Kiryuu lineage exist longer, I don't think he needs to be with a hunter girl.
Yori would be possible, he seems to care of her, ans she likes him for sure.
A difficulty is his vampirish side. I don't think he could be with a human without doing her a victim of his hunger.
Maria would be fine, she was in love wirth Ichirou, she can also turn her feelings on Zero. She is a vampire, that's the reason why I doubt sure he could anytime accept her.

yes I also don't think it's necessary zero has to be with a hunter girl to continue the lineage, maybe to strengthen it, however if he has to boost his image as hunter president or strengthen ties for political reasons he may need to do this which I don't think would be necessary considering he's already powerful or infamous, there's no political conflict / disuse in hunter society, and a hunter president's image is not held as crucial as the royal image would be to the public eyes. For example, the mere fact they selected Zero despite his background or history with purebloods or instability is proof they wouldn't give much damn to who his wife is.

Skills or strength is another issue, I think hunters take this seriously.. if Zero decides to choose a powerful,skillful huntress it would be beneficial to the future line and reputation of Kiryuus, after all they are known as skilled hunters and he (or the hunters) may feel the need to maintain this image, however after all that's happened with the Kiryuus and given it's not Zero's attitude to mate with someone he doesn't love, I think Zero deserves a new chance in life where he can freely choose who to spend his life with.

Yori is boring, but she is Yuki's bestfriend and if opposites attract for this two friends then that makes Yori and Zero similar. Zero also seems to care for her, but for Yori its hard to tell for sure although I think her bluntness towards him can mean she cares. I don't see any spark between the two of them though..
Yori's position as the congressman's daughter and being a human herself she is the perfect person to tame Zero's nature and bring it down a notch. Zero will probably be protecting her as a hunter and she will open him to the realities he needs to face.

As for Maria... I just remembered she is Shizuka's distant relative. :Startle: this could possibly mean that her blood has a trace of Hio's, so maybe if Zero takes it continuously it just might permanently stabilize him?? :surprise: the main conflict with Zero is his level e condition...so what if he can be saved with Maria's blood?
Also... Maria likes Ichiru, his twin brother that reminded him to be human again. Maybe Maria's presence can channel Ichiru's message to him over time and it will keep Zero's feet on the ground?
And yes, definitely there's a spark!

I think Maria's like for Ichiru will also be conveyed to his twin brother, after all they look similar.
Both Maria and her connection to Shizuka will desensitize Zero to the source of his hate and this may help him get over it. Maria also has this cheerful innocence and fragility with her that Zero may want to protect.

As for Zero's preference for big boobed women, lol, I wonder if he will meet a women like this someday and it turns out she's also a hunter?? XD that would probably be the match.. XD

If not with yuki I think I would like to see zero end up with sara, they defently seemed to have some kind of chemistry and there is a thin line between love and hate.

Anyways I defently want to see zero end up with a pb in the end, it will be kinda poetic, falling for the thing you hate the most, also can you imagin the offspring of a pb hunter vampire hybrid, espishaly if it is another twin set up lol

Edit In: I was also thinking, sence sara is trying to get into night class with yuki, how would yuki react if sara started getting clingy with zero lol We know she has her eye on him as a board peace and if you are afrade of kaname zero is the safist person to be around lol
Sara gets zero alone in a room and pushes him against a wall and gets close to him then yuki walks in, lol I can just imagine zero's reaction, Zero "wait yuki it's not what it looks like, I can explain, I umm" Sara "I am taking this poor dogy that you abandend" lol That would be so priceless lol

I want zero to end up with yori because i keep maria for aidou. poor aidou is suffering now and a new love is good for him.

I doubt zero will end up with sara. zero doesn't seems to like her at all: she is turning humans girls into vampires. only law stopped zero not to shoot her.
plus, i am sure sara will die. she was represented like a vilain. shizuka and rido were vilains too and they died in the end.

I believe you have right, is possible like hunters to marry between each others. for example we have an example: zero parents were both hunters. the reasons they do this can be purely about power (and maybe love somewhere there).

as for being forced into an arranged marriage, I personally think it's the girl who will suffer from Zero because he will treat her coldly and just an instrument. Zero already acts like a brute towards Yuki even as he loves her, what more for a girl he doesn't love, it will be a terrible experience for that poor female. What more with his personal issues troubling him, it won't even be a marriage at all until his issues are resolve and he begins to open up to people.
Yes, I think Zero should be with someone he loves and cares for the idea of marrying for political, arranged reasons sounds ugly.

Zero is the only Kiryuu existing as far as the manga showed. He is also a vampire who's also a hunter. His bloodline/reputation is already quite complicated, for example he has to choose a vampire because naturally he is a vampire, but he can also choose a hunter but that would be troubling considering we are talking about a human and a vampire married together. this means, for me at least, marriage options wouldn't affect much in terms of his standing in vampire society because of what he is already

Yes I agree with sweetsolace ... I think Maria is a very suitable choice ... she is a noble vampire and she was siblings with Shizuka ... her blood maybe it can help Zero with the level-e issue too.

I am troubled about the secret fiance Yori has. I mean she is not a main character in vk. Why her fiance must be a secret? From this and from the fact that in fanbook Yori said that ''her taste in men is something between Yuki and Zero'', I beleive that Yori will end up with Zero. And not to mention the last chapter. Why her father knows all about vampires and hunters??? And why yori's memories didn't erase? I mean something is weird.
Also Zero seems to get well with her, and not only because she is Yuki best friends.

Why is everyone still stuck on this level-e thing? Zero is not falling to level-e, yuki just thinks he is cause she dosen't belive he still has feelings for her.

i dont know... i have a feeling too that it's zero..but it could also be aido.. XD if the decision was made when zero was still a normal human then its possible he's the "secret" fiancee.. and LOL why does it have to be secret..
also she's the only normal human (im not sure) in vk who is a side character.. the rest are vampires or hunters..

its also a bit weird that hino will show 2 pages where yuki is thinking zero's level e condition but nothing will go wrong with him. after all it was the main topic in the first arc... there's no declaration he was healed, he even doubts it himself so what happened to it..?

I had not thought of Maria in that way...relation with Hio until Solace brought it up. Solace you seem to have a right here, but I doubt that if Zero marries another vampire the children are going to be hunters (except if a new breed vampire hunters is bred)...in that way.

Meaning normally the hunter genes are totally different both from vampires and humans, that makes hunters so distinctive. Cross is also alone and possible his lineage probably is going to erase...

Ha, Yori's secret fiance is still mystery...at least now her father appears...apparently Yori is going to play a greater role in the continuation than what we expected. Zero protects Yori, the same way he did with Yuukii (staying away from vampires ect.).

What if Yori is coming from a hunter's family? that would also solve the lineage problem and if Sara turned to her a to vampire that would also make her like Zero.

Apparently I would also prefer Yori (not that I do not like Maria, Maria has also high possibilities) but I think that a bond between Zero and Yori seems from the scenes between them more easy to be achieved under the conditions..but you never know...

And Yuuki is right. in the scene with the girl (the one Yuuki witnessed through the girls memories) there is nothing about Yuuki...

About zero's problim that yuki saw, zero saw yuki right before he went out on that mission, that alone can be enought to set off the hunger. Yuki saying that zero disgarded those feelings is her take on it.

its the COLLAR that's white, which belongs to the undershirt that is part of the uniform . a jacket is worn over that with a red ribbon. it can either be black or white jacket depending on the class.

-Zero will not be able to expand his lineage if not married with a hunter girl.

-Until now, no hunter girl available.

-The two most likely flirts are Yori and Maria.

Yori:
Has reported in the fanbook that the ideal man is somewhere between Yuuki nad Zero...
She knows Zero more time than Maria does and has developed with him a similar relation as Yuuki at the beggining of the first arc.
Zero also acts as shield protecting her from vampires, the way he also acted with yuuki

but has a secret fiancee...

Maria:
Related to Hio familly, her blood might be able to further lift the spirits of the hunter (if not stabilize him)
Was in love with Ichirou so Zero is very close

But would Zero like her (she is a vampire) , so that they could come closer and get to know better each other?

Of course there is also that singer girl at the bonus chapter (that was not bad at all...)

But of course Zero is a difficult one; who would he lik most...hm..

i think his best chances is to remain with lily LOL

@Rum, haha, I laughed at the idea that Yuuki might get jealous seeing Sara with Zero, but it is high possible that Sara might get Zero with her side in order to use him against Kaname when the time comes...but I think Zero hates her guts already
