Any new news on a vampire knight season 3?

Any updates as to whether there will be a new season

Apparently its already been released in japan? or its due to be released on the 5th of june

They also call it "Vampire Knight Eternity". I heard 3 different dates from people... someone said " Oh, my friend in Japan said it's already out" or " It's going to be out in October 2011 for sure" Before that it was supposed to be out in February 2011, and someone even got specific and said March 5 2011... I wouldn't get your hopes up on it coming out in december.... since the exact same rumours were floating around last year. Heck, I think they were even around since after Vampire Knight ended in 2008. It's been over 4 years... when are people going to give up and just give the manga a chance...>.> I'm happy for the continuation of the manga, and it annoys me when people spread these massive rumours about animes getting a new season when it had a clear end, and a perfectly good continuing manga if you want more.... And then to top it off, the fans expect the anime companies to dispel the internet rumors that the selfish fans create... That's not their job, the fans got themselves hyped up, and if others are gullible enough to believe them, that's their own fault. If there is going to be a new season, it will be announced officially.... but I wouldn't rely on the anime creators to tell you whether it is or isn't, since they probably haven't even given it a thought. Sorry, Saphira, this wasn't all aimed at just you, i'm just discussing the topic in general based on what all i've read here and seen elsewhere ^^;

eh, i suppose it was too good to be true. thanks for clearing that up! (and no worries, no offense taken )
i really enjoy the manga, and would certaintly recommend it before the anime. yet, i still like seeing it on screen, even if you don't get all the little "tasty tidbits" as they don't have time to insert the beauty of it all. but if they really don't in the end make a 3rd, oh well. i'll continue with the manga

I don't. The reason why I don't want the third season is because the screenwriters have completely ruined Hino's original story.

yup, they did miss and change quite a few things. but isn't always like that anyway? the book/manga is never the same as the movie/anime.
that's why they always say: don't judge the book by the movie.
at least the changes are not too dire. although the ending was a bit they could have def. done something better there. some movies just get bombed, so i'm glad the VK anime didn't turn out that way. they can really mess around sometimes.

Actually, it's the other way around... it's Yuuki kisses Kaname and Zero giving a farewell kiss to Yuuki.

the creators are disscuing it , there properly will be thrid season around 2012 ,2013

I agree with you! They changed all these things cause they didn't want continue the serie...Neither It didn't show Sara at the first ball of vampires....they're such a dumb...-.-But I have to recognize the best quality of the ost ...^^
