I think an age is not important in manga or anime. Most of male characters act not like teenagers but like mature mens. They look usually also in that way. It is almost a rule, female characters in shoujo act like childrein and they are stylised as cute and sweet. Most of guys who are under twenty act like mature and experienced people. What do you think, why is that?

Hmm I guess you are right, while in Shounen you get Tsundre's and Moe girls. I watched a Shounen anime called "To aru majutsu no index" a girl in it, who is 12 acts like a 16 year old

I guess since Shojo is aimed at girls, it lets us look at AMAZING hot mature guys (we wouldn't really wanna look at immature, annoying, ugly guys right), but about Yuki well, I can't answer that question
