Who is best for Yuuki? Kaname or Zero?

From my POV, I don't believe Yuuki wants Zero because she's NOT IN LOVE with the hunter. The only thing that she wants in her life is to become allies. And Zero saying that he'll never betray Yuuki was a complete random coin toss. He may have loved Kaname's fiancee when she was human, but the truth to the matter is that he hates her true nature. Zero doesn't hates vampires... he only hates pureblood vampires. He lost his family because a pureblood (Shizuka) have murdered them except for his now-deceased twin brother.

Secondly, Kaname truly loves Yuuki above all others. He's trying his very hardest trying to not only bring a peaceful co-existence to both races-- vampires and humans-- but also for Yuuki to walk freely once more. He isn't eliminating all purebloods, instead he's only eliminating the head household of each pureblood vampire family member. You should know the fact that Sara have devoured Ouri and the heart of the head member of the Hanadagi clan (family). In conclusion, Kaname isn't betraying Yuuki at all. He knows in his heart that he loves her and willing to sacrifice everything in order to get what they always want in their lives.

Yuki's eyes are "distant" and her hand appears to stretch randomly because of the ecstasy she's feeling at the moment from Kaname's bite. simple..

I've been sticking to discussing Yuki and Zero all along :/ the point of the chapter 12 example was to show how Zero generalized his hatred, and still did after that incident. Generalization is his initial reaction to his hate, he can't help it, hence the gun pointing towards an innocent Yuki.

He did something extremely offensive and even life threatening, that Kaname recognized and said he will never forgive him for doing so.It was what he did at that moment that defines it, even Yuki I believe knew this. She knew there was no point talking to him again, she knew it will be difficult to put things back the way it was. It doesn't matter what Zero's reasons are, his actions have spoken and it affected Yuki.
chapter 71 example was as it was: Yuki doing ALL the effort to make amends with him while he stares blankly into space. She's the one who wants it back, he never made a comment about it. So what does this say about his interest?

and its not changing towards romance, its reverting to an earlier primitive form called Friendship, starting from the point where Yuki pats Zero to sleep again because his nightmares are haunting his living day lights, or she gives him a bath because he can't do it himself.

- Why is his caring attitude no proof? What else could be a proof?If
he hated her more he would attack her (but I know he can't according to

of course not, since Yuki also can't help but be concerned about him, its a hobby that was difficult to break for four years. Aido cares for Yuki, but does that mean he loves her, no.

- Yes , you did bring kaname in the discussion. You brought up chapter 12.
- Ofcourse Zero does the generalzing. But my belief is that
1. he has improved now that his whole life has become more stable
2. He doesn't count yuuki in.
- Zero's never been one to talk a lot. He never said he loved yuuki in the first arc until the end. Does that mean he didn't , no. It says nothing about his interest or about him. Yuuki's the only one who's saying things. And she's making assumptions
- Can you look into the future. I think not, so you don't know where their relation is heading to.
- If you think that he could give blood to someone he hates..help someone he hates to achieve her goals..protect someone he hates....Then I won't be able to convince you. If actions aren't enough, the only thing that could convince you, I think, is him saying that he still loves her. Well he won't,at least for now, the situation is too complicated right now
- My point about the diffrence between defining and having consequences, apparebtly you don't believe it eiher.
