Yuki as the Console-lation Prize or Yuki the Undeserving?

there's so much talk about "who gets the girl" and fans have their bets on either Kaname and Zero, using their suffering levels as the measurement if Yuki gets to be with them to pat their bruised selves that needed much love. lol and let's stop thinking that this is about who she loves more or not. its about the guy's suffering and they need to be cure through her love.

But on the other side, here I also read lots of fans saying something like "Kaname doesn't deserve Yuki because she cheats" "I only love Yuki because of Kaname" "Yuki doesn't deserve Zero or Kaname" bla bla bla

I dont really get it Eventually one has to deal with the fact that Yuki makes up the Love Triangle, she is the center of it, and she has to pick one of the guys eventually whether or not she deserves it.

the point im trying to make is how can she become a consolation prize for either boys suffering if she doesn't deserve either of them? You see how it contradicts here?

she cannot become worthy enough to be a Prize if her character is not valuable in the male's lives, or to sing a lullaby to their suffering. Yuki soothes wounds, she was more or less exposed to the guys' suffering and in her own way did what she did to get on with it.

though sometimes i get the feeling her own life was devastated and suffered because of the lives of these males surrounding her....

Well there is the problem here; we think that she does not deserve them but they think eitherwise Just give me a chance to conceive them eitherwise ...big problem I tell you..LOL

I think when we go into a pairing debate, Yuuki suddenly becomes a prize, and when thinking what it would do to one of the males who loves her if she chose the other, as well as how much they love her. But then when in our own fan discussion and no debates or whatnot, then we think she doesn't deserve either. Maybe we wouldn't think she doesn't deserve either if it didn't seem that she's going from one to the other and back?

At either rate, very contradictory of us indeed and is really laughable.

Or perhaps we would not put her a high as a trophy if Hino's characters did not feel so desperate about her... so I think that here as fans we contradict the character's opinions but because we favour them, we fall into their logic eventually....mm... what a perplexed way...anyway...

It is both for laughters and for tears if you just think about it, at the end there is always the ultimate hope that we shall see a Yuuki standing her grounds eventually, no matter what...thus the fact that she does not deserve Kaname for example does not change the fact that this unworthy creature can make him happy

haha. you're right juliet indeed its desperation that makes us call her names she doesnt make up her mind, she is always indecisive, luring us more and more to wait for her decision that we think she is baiting readers to thinking so. we're all victims of our emotions.. while yuki is doing nothing but fulfill the role given to her by the author.
