Actually this is the nearest I saw Hino drawing Kaname shirtless . This is from a pillow pair that get out in Japan . One Kaname , one Zero .

Bad I didn't mark the place I got it . Only keep the image . The whole pic is Kaname full body . He has no shoes on , and said Vampire Knight in the lower corner .

For the Zero pic . Don't expect a sexy one . It is Zero standing dressed with the Day Class uniform . I didn't kept this image .

Reading chapter 74, Mousou translation ( thanks Mariangie for the links and all the team for the extra time and effort) and it completely seems as a deal there between Yuuki and Zero and an agreement so that Yuuki can support her role. (muhaha, therefore she lost from Sara), okay haha...but I am left with some questions...

1. Has Kaien any knowledge about what has happened between Yuuki and Zero?

2. Zero speaking to Kaien says: "She is been placed in a position where she has no other choice", (he means she has no other choice but to work hard, mentioned at the previous babble).
Why does it sound like Zero feels pity about Yuuki and the role she was assigned? It might just be me but it sounds like he is both irritated and worried over that. if you relate this with his proposal to offer blood to Yuuki is like Yuuki is in charge of something that really demands hyper skills (which Zero suspects that she is not having and therefore runs to the aid).

3. Kaien, on the other hand, seems to push Yuuki to work hard because Zero says;
"if it's her she is currently working frantically at this academy as you wish"...does he sound like he agrees with Kaien?
I have the opinion that Zero in general would oppose to Kaien's plan (if he could), and Kaien has indeed a peculiar attitude. Look at the next line that Kaien says; "At first, I thought you would kill Kaname, right away before anynone could stop you, using the potential danger he could cause as the reason, lately you've been suprisignly quiet. Truth to be told, I am actually a bit worried".
So what is Kaien actually saying that he would let Zero kill Kaname? but if his estimation was as such, he never referred to that before or he would not mind about it. Was he waiting for Zero to act (but Zero has no intention and this is the discussion all about so kaien can learn if Zero intends to kill kaname or he should do it on his own) and therefore Kaien has no option but to set out on his own to stop Kaname?

It seems that Kaien is not perfoming well with his duties as the president of the HA (and Sara has set her nest in the academy), when her tablets are sold two streets away from Isaya's house, while he has also overworked Yuuki with the academy, leaving her no space to go out and find Kaname.

If it ends up Kaname VS Kaien, I am with Kaname (LOL), I do not know why but Kaien seems too inadequate for his role and suddenly I do not trust his reasons or his perfomance (seems too low), he should have framed Sara by now, (taking into consideration the anonymous phone calls, Takuma's pleadings for help ect.).
Unless Sara's threat in the academy help him in keeping Yuuki there in order to create controversy and prohibit her further freedom.

I remember Zeki fans complaining about Kaname holding Yuuki into the house while he had not even established his position, she refused to feed properly and she was unarmed (kaname took Artemis after the meeting with the hunters and delivered it to Yuuki, who was free to go a day after), ect..
What exactly is Kaien's excuse now when Yuuki is strong and totally capable of acting as a full matured pureblood vampire?

Kaien seems to be onto some shady business, we have reason to believe that his actions are either suspicious or insane, and that leads me to think in the ff manner:

-he's in cahoots with Kaname
they're allies. The phone calls, Takuma and the vague behaviors of the hunters might explain this. Kaien was the one who pushed Yuki to take responsibility as Kuran, and this led her to create the night class, therefore his decision deliberately turned Yuki's mind off the track and kept her from going after Kaname. He was also the one who forced Zero to be Yuki's guardian, and for no significant reason. There is danger here other than what Yuki "discreetly" imposes (as Kaname's fiancee/sister), as viewwed in the hunter's perspective like Kaien, but its not shown yet.

Im sure not buying that "Yuki is dangerous because she's Kaname's fiancee" reason, we all know what Kaien knows more about Kurans than anyone else, and yet he's out there accusing then ten times more than what Zero or any stranger can possibly do, so its either an elaborate act or a malfunction in his brain cells causing him to act that way.

Whatever it is, it seems only Kaien knows the whole story, and Zero is slowly catching up to it, so when Kaien told him he was expecting him to go after Kaname, it was probably part of the "expectations/plan" whatever it is. There better be an explanation for this or...

I do not buy that also, he needed an excuse there to force Yuuki to remain close to him and he got it. seriously? Kaien paves the way to Zero-Yuki relationship, everything he does helps the loveteam grow. Its as simple as that.

haha if you ask me it sounds like a lame excuse. So he stops Yuki from going after Kaname the first time by slapping some sense to her, and telling her (by his understanding) that their relationship has changed and its no longer the same. Who decided that its no longer the same? One unexplained murder before his eyes led him to such assumptions? And since when did the hunters become such a nazi towards a vampire's death? If he is as innocent as he says then he's pretty much the same in Yuki's position, also confused by Kaname's actions, but I don't see that at all. And that is bothersome and abnormal. Im not convinced all this apathy towards Kaname meant his dedication to his fake job is more important than his bond with him.

The second time Yuki told him he was going to go after Kaname, Kaien stopped her again by imposing that Kuran responsibility. So who decided that the Kuran responsibility had to continue NOW, when there's no indication Kaname had been working on that before his disapperance, he was the only one to decide. Precisely this reasons forces Yuki to stay close to him against her wishes and prevent her from going after Kaname, but again what's up with him being so damn lenient towards Sara and being carefree in her treatment, he's more diligent towards seizing Kaname by the tail than watching over his own grounds. I know...Kaien is using the one excuse after the other;
1. being dangerous and taken into custody
2. burdening her with the co-existence part
3. accepting Sara in as Yuuki's protegee
4. overworking her with the academy's duties

To keep her away from Kaname, perhaps he thinks that after doing all these and assigning to her different tasks she is going to forget Kaname? but isn't exactly her role as a represeantative of the peacy treaty to go after Kaname and deal with this "dangerous" vampire her responsibility, official assigned to her by Kaien?

Ah another great contradiction - the hunters were suspecting Kaname to have deals with Sara because as a represantive of the peace treaty he was obliged to control his vampires- isn't that what they were actually saying? the reason they suspected Kaname? due to his position and the way he was supposed to be dealing with Sara?

But now its not Yuuki's position and task to deal with Kaname? So has Kaien decided what the representative of the peace treaty is rensponsible of? or has the role of the representative diminished - now that Yuuki is in charge- in running errands in the school academy? m?

oh never noticed that. indeed Kaien seems to be overstepping his boundaries there. he seems to have gotten emotional there and was suddenly concerned of Love Development rather than minding his own business.
it probably didn't occur to him that Yuki might be going after Kaname to arrest him, he is probably thinking Yuki was aiming to become a fugitive along with Kaname, yes and now Kaien is the Love Counselor and he decides whether someone has the right to be with the other.. the matchmaker.

ok seriously Im annoyed why he butts in to someone's else's relationship there and makes decisions for her on the spot when he has NOTHING to do with them for almost a year, seriously..
