The relationship between Yuuki and Aidou

I like very much scenes with Aidou and Yuuki. They are so amusing together, their quarrels and discussion enjoy. Also, it is interesting how their friendship will develop, maybe to something more....\
Please, write what do you think about that.

One of the best relationships between M+F...Aido is a piece of gold...really, very bright and intelligent, direct and honest, I love the way he handles Yuuki's rights and wrongs. Also he is the comedian start of VK, no character makes me laugh more than Aidou and yet at the same time he can be deadly serious over a matter.

And Yuuki with Aido are very fun to see them interacting. I melted from the hug that she gave him in the HA to console him about his father.

And as far as it goes for the Kurans, Aido is certainly a believer...

For some reason, I kind of think that Aidou has taken on a bit of a big-brotherly role for Yuuki. But I definitely don't mean like how Kaname is though :roll: Haha

What I mean is that I think Yuuki and Aidou have this sort of bond now, that's developed since the end of the first arc. For the first half of the series, I think all that Yuuki was to Aidou was just that annoying human girl who Kaname seemed to care too much for, and Yuuki just seemed to think that he was a bit of a spoiled brat (like in chapter 23 when Aidou ran away from the Night Class dorm and went to the Chairman's housing instead). They never really had anything more to do with each other than that back then, but for the last year they've both been living under the same roof at the Kuran mansion and Aidou was the one to keep Yuuki company during Kaname's trips away. Over that time that I think that's when they started to become friends and Aidou took on more of a big brother role for her At times I get the idea that they still get on each other's nerves a little, and Aidou never seems to be afraid to call Yuuki an idiot sometimes :roll: They banter and argue a bit, but I really think Aidou has come to care for Yuuki and is even a little protective of her, just like real siblings. Like how he accompanied her on her trip to find other purebloods to offer her services, and was then willingly to attempt to protect her against Touma, even though she wasn't in real danger and he was much more likely to receive a fatal injury had he gone up against Touma, a pureblood. I know that him coming to her defense there was of course also out of duty to Kaname, but even so, Aidou is probably the most loyal character in this series, because for a whole year he's been with the Kuran's and even after he witnesses Kaname kill his dad, he still accompanies Yuuki back to the Hunters Association to protect her, which is amazing.

I think he would have wanted to help protect Yuuki even if Kaname had not given him instructions to do so And Yuuki also seems to have grown closer to Aidou in recent chapters, like how she reached out to him when he was obviously in pain and confused about Kaname's actions.

I like how in recent chapters we've gotten to see some interesting interactions and I want to see a lot more of these two

There's something very platonic with Aido and Yuki relationship that draws me in.... . They're like this best buddies that, given a chance to grow romantically, would probably result to be a really cute pairing ( of course this can only happen in an alternate universe setting )

Yuki and Aido's personality blend with each other like milk and tea, they are both rascals in a way, so they get along well really cute there's something about Aido that's very charming if he pairs up with someone who's like Yuki

his demeanor completely changed he doesn't really look like the comedy clown in VK anymore, its like he grew up 10 times in maturity overnight and the way he stood up for Yuki was just so cool. :em..yes:
I like his development and his character it seems to blend well with Yuki's. they get along well even with conflict.

I agree with you all the way... they have formed a stronger bond now Aido is such a loyal character he has shown far more loyalty to Kaname than all the rest combined despite what Kaname did to him... but more than that I really admire his objectivity even as we have known in the past he used to be emotionally-driven, cranky, spoiled and annoying. There's a deeper element to him that he doesn't often show, but I think this is the best part of him he showed it when he became witness to shizuka's murder, he kept quiet about it and went to yuki and zero's pretending as though nothing happened. What he saw upset him that's why he didn't want to stay in the night dorms, but he didn't tell anyone instead along with kain, he decided to find out more about Kaname's past. In the novel -icebluesins- Aido shows this side more often when he often a straightforward unpretentious front to Fuuka who had a level E condition... he didn't hesitate submitting to her wishes even as he was with her along her agonizing journey... :bom:
his flirtatious attitude was just a front, I believe he can be as serious-minded and it works just as well for his character :bom: I like the transition he has made past all that and became a far better person

Aidou treated Yuuki bad, he acted like he was jelous of her. It is possible because he coudn't understand a reason for what one of the royal pureblood is taking care of mere girl.
After that, he started to look her closly and worry about her when he has inderstood that happiness of Kaname depended on her.
He was also the one who suspected a bond between Yuuki and Kaname.
It was beautiful when he was trying to protect her in the time of battle with Rido. Atlhought then his main reason for acting like that was respect for pureblood and feelings towards Kaname.
Now it is more complicated. They spent whole year together and Aidou knows her far much better. It seems he likes her now for herself and he will be one of her knights. His help is not only loyalty for Kuran clan but also expression of symphaty and faith in Yuuki.
I don't think he loves her, but he treated her a little loke his younger sister but with respect for her position.
It is wonderfull when he acts like her counselor and one moment after, he is quarreling like her older brother.
I hope Hino is going to show us more funny moment with them both.

yes! they are so cute together lol. It's like their bond has different stages:
chapter 1: the school flirt and the victim
chapter 2: a boy jealous of her importance to his idol
chapter 3: protecting her out of loyalty to kuran
chapter 4: her mentor for a year for kaname? or also yuki's sake?
chapter 5: went along with her adventures out of fear being punished if something happened to her? or worry?
chapter 6: defended her in touma attack
chapter 7: believed in her even when his loyalty was betrayed.

I can add something more. The relationship between Yuuki and Aidou is, healthy or refreshing. I love of course,her telationship with Kaname and Zero but they are so serious and tough, there are so much hartred and pain that to see her and Idol-senpai is very relaxing for me.

I think there, he felt that his intelligence was provoked in a way; like he had to discover what was hiding behind Kaname's interest for a human girl. Like being too smart in order to let it pass like that..
He was a bit daring at that phase. I like that he is very straight forward and rarely conceals his thoughts...

Like in Zero's case "I wont become like you" or in Yuuki's mistakes when he goes "Stupid"...

Its wonderful that Hino developed Aido a lot in order for us to enjoy all of these scenes.

In addition, Kaname made Aidou "a second knight" of Yuuki after her first knight get used to try to kill her.
It is possible that Kaname wanted they knew each other better to create a new security for Yuuki.
Maybe he let Aidou to see murdering of his father in order to make him follow Yuuki and not searching for him?

Can't wait to see where this relationship gets thrown in the next chapter.

Idol-senpaii ,P the most funny person in VK I think the could be a nice couple...but they won´t end up together because their relationship seem to be more of brother and sister....but who knows.P hmmm about aido´s father ...i think it´s a bit hard to say hat he has been murdered by kaname because it was like he accept his "punishment" i don´t know for what but he was kneeing down in front of kaname instead of protecting himself...soo...
