Kaname's true age

Confusion comes with his body. Now purebloods stop aging at some point or age at a very slow speed, so in his profile at the fanbook it says that he is 18 years old (in human years I guess or since he was awaken from his slumber). So he has only three years difference from Yuuki? So when he rescued Yuuki he was 8 and Yuuki was five. And he is two years older than Zero if I am not mistaken.

What we know about Kaname is that he is the ancestor of the Kuran and the progenitor of the vampire race (mentioned in the fanbook). So how old is he really? Throw some numbers in?

10.000 years?, 30.000 years old? OMG

It looks perverted. On the other side it is good idea with taking the body of baby by ancestor. His body is still young but he has an experince of old man. It explain why he is so mature and serious.
There is also something weird. He mentioned about his childish mind. Did he forgot about his past and used to acted like real baby? It looks like his memories and personality returned after fight with Rido.

So Kaname's true age is around something older than 10.000 years old.... Now what kind of a cake should we make for his birthday to fit the candles?

No, no he remembered it! Remember the scene with Aido and Ruka as kids and the sandbox? that's where he got the first "nostalgia" hint of his prior memories. It was mentioned, I think in chapter 62 that he was the one who erased his old memories, so he returned as a baby pure in body and soul.

Still he somehow got another hint looking in Yuuki's eyes as a baby in the scene where Yuuri holds her and he says that there was a warmth in these eyes that he "recognized" or something quite close to that...

So he got slowly his memories back, in his first battle with Rido he did not have his full powers back (but I think he had all of his memories).

When he visits Takuma's grandpa to kill him (after the council) then it's mentioned that he has all of his powers bak again full... I suspect that after taking Shizuka's powers he empowered himself as he used to be in the old times...

It's a bit strange but I conclude that he had all of his memories when he rescued Yuuki (after his first battle with Rido), then his powers kept developping until he boost them up with Shizuka so he was back again like his old self...

Right now he is 10.019 years old? LOL...

And about the whole cake thing... i wonder if Yuki can be used as an ingredient. After all, Yuki only fits Kaname's tastes, lol........

Oh yes Kaname mentioned in one of the drama cds that his favourite food is Yuuki, well either he eats her or she eats him (like she desires to)...Yumes have a reason to celebrate (apart from his birthday) LOL....

I can't believe i just gave YuMe fans a reason to celebrate!
