Hey,I found some 73 chapter raw:

They are not very readable,but it seems that in chapter 73 will happen A LOT.

the answer is pretty simple. In ch60, he didn't think she needed real blood. In ch73, he think's its been too long since she had real blood.

and how do you know that? Zero gives it to her saying, "I'll crush your academy if you can't handle the students"

Again, what gives the impression that she's losing control?

In the translation I read zero said then the academy will crumble, I think the crush thing was from the earlyist version of the translation.

As for loseing control, sara following him into the woods, maria walking around in the day class area's, members leaveing, take your pick.

here's the part where it says that:

lol did you actualy use a text translater? You do know those never get the translation in the way it is intended right?

You have to take the words in context with the other words present.

if you can use a "text translater" on the raws, then its possible for you. otherwise if you haven't check if the translation i posted is actually accurate, then you're just second guessing yourself.

as for the translation you posted, how sure are you its the right one and should be followed? did you use a "text translater"?

As for how sure I am about it, it fits better then the "hulk smash" (sorry that is all that comes to mind when I read your version) version in my opion, those terms just dont fit the writeing style.

Let's look at this, how many times did you read Zero's lines actually nicely saying "Night Class" to Yuuki? None. He likes to say it's her "School game" in disrespectful tone. Therefore, the line about him saying her Nightclass found in LJ's version has already been not right and is more like an opinionated translation. Indeed, he said "her school game" and "I will smash your school game right now". Although the socalled school game can technically mean Yuuki's "Nightclass", it's very important that the line is correctly translated to keep its originalilty and tone so that people can have a better understanding of what Zero actually said for the sake of chapter discussion regardless we are YUME or ZEKI or any fans. Also, the words "imasugu" (right now) were even missed in the LJ's version. Finally, the word "tsubusu" which means "smash or break" is a transitive non-passive verb, so how will school smash itself?

I second that. It is important to have a correct translation, because if not, other version will affect readers opinion in judging things.

really? so Zero is threatening her in order for her to drink his blood?

He is not joking or teasing her about it? but really threatening? that sounds so . Why would it be such a great necessity to take his blood?

I grabbed the text and used google translator. It is free for every one to use. I will have to edit it in cause it is jsut basic text imput into a website so I didn't copy paste it to a .txt.

Edit I didn't say I am a translater, I said I used a translater, just to clear that up.

How did you do your own translation? Can you share that with us? Do you need me to give you some crash course how to at least to identify it's right or not? First, do you understand the word "grammar"? If you don't understand Japanese grammar, no matter how well your translator program does, it won't give you coherent result. However, it will give you some ideas of the words it used.
Omae no = Your
Gakkou Gokko = Make-believe School Game
Imasugu = Right now
Tsubusu = Smash
These words come from Zero's line "Omae no Gakkou Gokko wa imasugu tsubusu". That means "As for your make-believe school game, I will smash it right now." in literal translation. In the more colloquial way, it will be "I will smash your make-believe school game right now."

Did you see anywhere it has the words "Night Class" in literal translation? None.

But I am dropping this now, I will belive my version, you belive yours.

It appears you only believe the one that will suit your taste and meet your expectation. I don't believe in all ZEKI fans are like you seeking for fantasy, not the truth. I do believe that someone out there will at least do their translation unbiasedly and truthfully regardless which fandom they are on.

I think it's totally disrespectful to say that a translation is inaccurate just because it doesn't go your way. We already lost a good translator for this reason, people were saying she was biased and she was probably fed up with their countless insults...Translators are willing to do it for free, they owe us nothing, they are doing us a favor and the least that we can do is to thank them. She/He is opinionated, big deal, everybody is biased, as long as we have a correct translation, I don't mind. You can read japanese, fine, then translate it, it will be greatly appreciated.

I know google translate isn't accurate, but I thought since you defend your version with such a passion you used your japanese knowlegde. Sorry, my fault.

Lol I thought I said my version was crapy, which is why I am going with live jurnals version. Also no passion in it at all, does it realy seem that way? I just have a habbit of trying to answer all the questions put towerds me, it gets me in a lot of trouble and I have trouble figureing if they actualy want me to answer or not, it makes a big mess.

roronoa, i dont think anyone posted about the difference between translations, in my opinion there's nothing wrong to point out the translation is inaccurate if there's PROOF of it being inaccurate. free subs are free subs done by people who do it, but if the translation is not correct then its not. nobody's gets hanged if the translation is wrong, but it WILL get reactions from people who do know the correct translation, after all if you post it in PUBLIC and in manga hosting sites, there's bound to be comments. its a free country.
