and ooh wow Kaien gets slapped (or punched?) in the CHEEK ok the most obvious thing i can imagine is he brought Touma and let him heal on the couch, that would make him angry...

I think Kaname was dreaming there on the couch and he thought of Rido... really odd, I keep getting the feeling maybe Rido is from kaname's past or Rido did something to Yuki in the past.. more secrets.

not to mention me it reminds me of the anime, the sprays of blood that Yuuki was seeing all over the place and also a hand that was reaching to get her..(she saw that at her sleep) remember? the scene has resemblances.

thanks XD about the blood could it be Rido's transformation is blood form in essence so he cant be killed? when he was last killed it seemed he "reconnected" with Kaname and followed him around, so i wonder if it has anything to do with their blood relation as Kuran? hmm

Μ... well in any case I think that we solved the blood stain mystery at the Kuran mansion, I think I shall make the "kettle club" and go into exploring more mysteries VK ( yes like the whole forum is not going into that actually...with so many posts suggesting theories) but anyway...I shall call this our first successful resolution to Kaname's enigmas .

short summary on the chapter:

-shiki said that takuma seems to be half controlled by sara.
-shiki ate the tablets ditributed by sara and rima is worried for him.
-He later seems to be addicted to the drug.
-zero told yuuki that kaname said to pass the message to her that 'he killed ouri and next is sara'
-yuuki asks aidou to run a test on the blood tablets
-th results show that there are added 'stuffs' in it that are not supposed to be in there
-yuuki confronts sara and sara admits that she made them

-kaname seems to be having a dream about rido saying something along the lines of 'finally you have a flower blooming only for you, but it will wither one day..thats okay for you? just like that..'
-kaname says in reply ' i know that you are in fact me..so please dont keep repeating...'
-rido later disappears
-kaname later bends down to lick/smell the blood
-he is woken up by seiren who says that 'she sees that he is having a rare dream but it seems like a bad one so she woke him up...because there are still things that he needs to do.'

I wonder if Rido symbolizes Kaname's ugly possessive side that was "born by mistake"? (he said that in chapter 35 or 38) he also said in chapter 60 that he "was a good mirror".

Yuki (or Yuki's love) as the rose
this reminds me of what i said in logo symbolisms thread, that yuki is symbolized through the resin rose, and kaname "preserved" her by dipping her in resin.. so what is it, maybe the rose symbolises their love in a whole, and when Rido says the flower is blooming only for you, it means yuki was giving him the love he was yearning for, but it will die someday because he let it "wither"..

the rose only blooms every ten years. If Yuki's love is symbolized as the rose mentioned in the manga that was preserved in resin and given to her as gift in chapter30, then this might support that she is a reincarnation of Kaname's past love, and he had been waiting for her to be born again. In chapter 44 Kaname holds Yuki too tight and didn't want to let her go, the emotions caused the resin to break and Kaname then loosened his grip on her. Before Yuki left the academy she took the rose with her. When Kaname was asked where he was going next, he touched the resin rose that was beside a chess board.

maybe the rose is her love for him that comes only once in a while so he wants to preserve it? if its already preserved in resin how come Rido says that it will wither someday. Maybe he was talking if the rose was allowed to grow on its own, which Kaname intended when he broke through his contradictions of wanting to possess her.

Kaname freed Yuki by breaking through his contradictions (Rido), in a sense she was no longer the rose preserved in a resin, she was the rose that was freely blooming in the garden every ten years, and she will wither someday.

But why he thinks like this? why he feels so much guilt over having desire to imprison or chain yuki when he didnt even did that literally. but... i get the feeling Kaname means more than that.. that he's holding onto her for a greater reason.. that what he's doing he's fighting to give her another path from the one she is destined to have, and the consequences might be compromising their love (rose).

seriously the flow of the story is getting NO WHERE, progression wise its still stuck on the gloomy side. Even the discovery of Sara's tablet was totally BS and lacked the fire and hope that was badly needed in the story, its going very SLOW and the LT drags like hell.

i dont understand where Yuki stands as the heroine of the story anymore, she is getting weaker and intellectually dull each chapter as if her pick up gets slower and slower, her position to act as the "deliverer of hope" actually the opposite, she might as well be someone's mistress pouting over her something as trivial as her lost friendship towards an enemy dog than taking mind of whats happening around her, and she is SO BLIND at it that she might as well be wearing rosecolored eyeglasses.
it feels like she became more idiotic when she stepped to Zero's side, she is more helpless than ever than when she was with Kaname. she keeps on ANGSTING and prefering to ANGST more than use her brain to make herself useful. I feel like I prefer Yuki in the mansion better than in the open, she is more disastrous or frustrating when left to her own devices

but its interesting that while everything is stuck repeating in its own loop hole Kaname shines even more in his own shell His moves and actions despite being tragic and depressing as well, feels like its the only thing that makes sense and the only one that is significant, as if it has a valid explanation waiting to unfold on its own, and remains consistent to the story while the rest burned in the stock.

I really miss vampire knight chapters so thanks a lot for sharing i love this site everyone's helping each other so nice..
